Leon, also known as CFTWCFTL or 1Leon, is the titular main protagonist of the CFTWCFTL The Movie series and the main antagonist of the Vyond film The Veyshal Movie.
He was one of Veyshal's best friends that assisted him in his adventures, facing several threats such as the Devil, Boris the Teeth Guy, his evil counterparts and such.
However, despite being mostly a protagonist in the movies, a conflict between him and Veyshal happens in The Veyshal Movie after the former had left him to die on an island they were stranded on after a plane hijacking, briefly becoming a villain who allies himself with a serial killer named Carlos "Carlo Bear" Perez to kidnap Veyshal's friends, including his best friend Jett, with a ransom of $50 000, but after Veyshal shot Carlo Bear while he was looking at the empty briefcase thinking he had the money, he ultimately decides to have Carlo Bear burn his friends alive, no longer caring about the money.
Despite him showing remorse in the end, he is suddenly shot by Carlo Bear for betraying him, making Veyshal furious at what he had just done to his friend as he beats him down, but even if he got revenge on him for shooting 1Leon, the latter dies from his wounds at the hospital.
Appearance[]
1Leon's avatar has changed appearances over the years, but he is mostly seen as a small teenager with grey furry ears, a red shirt, blue pants and black shoes as well as red hair.
As an adult in the film, he retains some of the features from his teenager form, but his shirt, pants and shoes are different. His shirt is now white with a red hoodie over it, his pants are now brown, his shoes are also black and red. He also wears white and red gloves and a white headset.
Personality[]
1Leon is usually seen as a good friend for Veyshal, being open to help in his adventures against several threats such as the Devil, Boris the Teeth Guy, the Leader and more. However, after being left behind on an island for five years after eight months of being stranded on due to a plane crash, he becomes fueled with vengeance and teams up with Carlo Bear, who becomes his new best friend and ally in his plans.
Though, his feelings aren't fully influenced with vengeance, as he does express remorse when Veyshal apologizes for what he did to him back at the island. This, however, would cost him his life as Carlo Bear doesn't tolerate his betrayal, resulting in him being mortally wounded as he dies from his wounds shortly after on his way to the hospital.
Biography[]
Prologue[]
On April 8, 2018, while boarding a plane from the Dallas International Airport, he and Veyshal are victims of a hijacking that causes the plane to crash on a deserted island. Stranded, they manage to survive for eight months until 2019, but by then, he and Veyshel are low on supplies, but they notice a man riding a jetski nearby. Happy to finally have a way to escape the island, they attempt to steal the jetski, but the man threatens to kill them if they do so. After a brief fight, the man finally agrees to help them escape the island.
However, the jetski only has one seat left, meaning that one of them would have to stay on the island, much to the shock of Leon and Veyshel. Veyshal reluctantly decides to leave Leon stranded on the island as he forgives him for it. The latter notices the jetski leaving without him, making him upset as he begs for Veyshel to come back, but to no avail.
Angered by Veyshal leaving him behind, he plots to get revenge on him when he escapes the island on his own, to which he eventually does as he vows that he won't get away for what he had done.
Revenge against Veyshal[]
Five years later, in 2024, Leon encounters Veyshal again in a local coffee shop named the Vyondian Coffee Shop, where he is working as a barista. Upon noticing him, Leon punches him in the stomach in front of all the customers and is asked by Jett to leave for doing so, but Veyshal convinces him to let him serve him first, which irritates Jett as he thinks he will let Leon get away with the assault. Leon confronts Veyshel at his table, who he orders to give him a latte, but the latter wants to ask why he punched him. Threatened by Leon and despite Jett claiming him as suspicious, Veyshel serves his order and tries to get back to the counter, only to be forced to take a seat next to him as he needs to have a talk.
There, Leon asks Veyshal if he remembers who he is. However, the latter doesn't seem to remember, not knowing that he is the one he left stranded on the island five years ago, even when he writes the date on a paper, but before he could finish talking with Veyshal, Jett orders him to leave him alone and let him do his barista job, but he refuses. He then asks why he needs Veyshel for, but tells him that it's a long story and that it is none of his business.
Annoyed, Jett has security kick him out of the bar as he promises that he will eventually get his hands on him. Shortly after the ordeal, Veyshal and Jett notice how he looks strangely familiar to them, but nonetheless, they drive back to their home, which Leon was also doing in the meantime, as he vows to wait for him and have his payback.
Once at his home, Leon asks if anyone is inside, only to be noticed by Carlo Bear, who was taking a shower, asking him to at least wait until he puts on his clothes. Afterwards, Leon tells Carlo that he finally found Veyshal again after five years, revealing to him that he now had a job as a barista. This makes the two laugh on how he couldn't get a better job than that, such as being an engineer or a doctor and call him a loser.
Back to the main topic, Leon tells Carlo that he was acting like a normal customer inside the coffee shop and wanted a latte only to be kicked out by a "random person" (despite the fact that he was kicked out because he was disrupting Veyshal's job as well as his earlier assault on him), as all he wanted to do is asking Veyshal if he remembered who he was after five years, but he completely forgot about him. He then realizes that the "random person" was none other than Jett, Veyshal's best friend. Now wanting to get rid of him, Leon discusses his plan with Carlo.
The next day, as Veyshal and Jett go back to the coffee shop for work, they notice a customer named Ralph who orders them a Frappichino, which they accept. As Ralph sits down at his table, he is also given a special cake by Veyshal in honor of his birthday, but after he eats it, he suddenly becomes sick and pukes on the floor before passing out. This results in Veyshal being accused of poisoning Ralph with the cake and not only losing his job, but also for Jett to be angry at him for what he allegedly did to Ralph.
At the hospital, after a brief fight with Jett, Veyshal convinces him that it must have been Leon who poisoned the cake, using rat poison. At first, Jett doesn't believe him, but when Veyshal brings up the incident that happened earlier, he realizes that Leon must be the one behind everything and starts crying, showing regret for incriminating him for the poisoning. However, this was only a short time before the police arrives to the hospital and arrest Veyshal for the murder of Ralph and sent to prison.
Two years later, in 2026, Veyshal is bailed out from prison by Jett in order to put an end to Leon's schemes. While driving to his house, Jett tells Veyshal that as he was driving home after his shift was over, he noticed Leon walking on the sidewalk and decided to secretly follow him, but then stopped when he saw his house, which is how Jett knew his location.
Meanwhile, Leon opens the door to get his newspaper, only to be attacked by Veyshal who was waiting outside with Jett. Pinning him down, Veyshal furiously berates him for poisoning the cake with rat poison in retaliation for the incident and getting him arrested. However, Leon is saved by Carlo, who pushes Veyshal away, hitting a wooden fence as Carlo then fights him and sends him flying straight at Leon's house, creating a hole on it's wall. This prompts Leon to stop the fight as he scolds Carlo for damaging the house. As he is distracted, Jett runs towards him in an attempt to knock him out, but Leon dodges it and retaliates with a flipping kick, knocking Jett down on the ground.
Later, back inside the house after he and Carlo was defeated by Jett, Leon thinks to himself how Veyshal could have been released after two years, having wished for him to be imprisoned for life instead, and vows to get back at him for being bailed out. However, Veyshal would later return to his house with Jett and Areg to confront him again, but as Veyshal attacks him, Leon gets the upper hand and knocks him down before stomping on him.
Fortunately, Zack Lopez, an agent called by Areg, saves Veyshal by holding Leon's fists behind his fact, telling him to stop the fight or he would be arrested, which he does. Unfortunately for Leon, Carlo Bear is unable to protect him as he runs away, due to him being recognized as Carlos Perez, a wicked thief and serial killer the police have been trying to catch for two years after he broke out of prison.
Having lost his friend, Leon returns to his room and gets a headache, holding a bag of ice on his head. Vowing to make him pay, he wonder where Carlos is, as it has been five hours that he raw away from the authorities, but noticing that he is no longer answering his calls, he gets furious as he had enough of Veyshal and his friends, grabbing his car keys and driving to a park where he notices Veyshal relaxing at a tree. Getting out of his car to encounter him, he attempts to remind Veyshal of what happened seven years ago, but the latter tells him that he can't bother him interfering and ruining his life. Leon yells at Vey to shut up, knowing that he also brought in the two agents that took Carlo Bear away.
Vey then orders Leon to get out of his sight, which he agrees, only to ruin his picnic, believing that Vey still hated picnics. Vey then rushes towards Leon and gets into a fight with him, only to be stopped by Jett who wants him to tell the truth on what really happened that day. Leon then angrily reveals the two were victims of a plane crash and stranded on an island for eight months before Vey left him behind, but Jett doesn't believe him and kicks him, ordering him to get out of his sight before he calls the police on him, which he does as he tells Vey that it isn't over between them and may return.
It is now the final straw for Leon, as he and Carlo Bear have Jett, Areg and Zack kidnapped and taken to his house, where he then calls Vey and asks him how Jett was missing lately, angering the former as he wonders what he had done to him, but instead of telling him, he passes the call to Carlo Bear, much to Vey's shock as he is supposed to be in prison, but he had escaped thanks to his powers. Veyshal orders Leon to let them go, which the latter accepts under one condition: Bringing him $50 000 to him in exchange of his friends being free, otherwise he would have Carlo Bear make them suffer with his powers. Leon then hears Veyshal promising Zack that he will save him and mentions that it will not be that easy, advising him to surrender and give him the money if he doesn't want his friends to die. Veyshal, not wanting them to perish, has no other choice but to accept the deal.
Upon arriving at his house with the briefcase full of money, he confronts Leon and asks him to turn around (secretly plotting to distract him in order to take down Carlo), but Leon doesn't fall for the trick at first, saying it is not the time for games, but does so after being persuaded. This allows Vey to take out a shotgun and attempt to shoot Carlo, but the latter dodges the bullet, missing the shot. Leon then turns back towards Vey and asks what he was doing. The latter replies that he tried to shoot Carlo because he thinked that he corrupted Leon into what he is, but Leon cuts him off as he doesn't want his best friend to be insulted, before ordering Vey to give him the money.
Once the briefcase is given to him, he opens it, only to see that it is empty. As it turns out, he was tricked by Veyshal who takes the opportunity to shoot Carlo, wounding him in the stomach. Leon, not wanting Carlo to die, attempts to help him but is tackled down by Veyshal as he then frees his friends. Leon attempts to stop him, but Veyshal tells his friends to escape out of the basement before he could do anything, but they are unfortunately captured again by Carlo, who drags them down the ladder. Leon then chases Vey towards a dead end, cornering him.
Face to face, Vey attempts to apologize what he had done to him seven years ago, telling him that there was only one seat available on the jetski and that he was unable to bring him along, but Leon doesn't care, wanting him to know how much he suffered from being "betrayed" and that he and his friends deserved it for what they did to him. Ignoring Vey's attempts of reasoning with him, he tells him that now he tried to kill his new best friend, which further broke their friendship apart, but Vey laughs at him.
Finally having enough of him, Leon attempts to attack Vey with a punch, but he dodges the attack as Leon hits the wall behind him instead. Complimenting his persistence, he walks towards him and was about to hit him again, only to get a call from Carlo, who survived the shot, telling him that he found a way to get payback on Vey for shooting him. Abandoning the fight, Leon tells Vey that fighting him would no longer be necessary as he instead would have Carlo Bear burn his friends alive. Horrified by this, Vey attempts to dissuade him from letting Carlo kill his friends and that he will give him the money, but Leon refuses as the money is no longer important after what he did to Carlo, which was the last straw for him.
Walking back to where the captives are, Leon asks Carlo if he is okay before telling him to get it over with as he then fires his laser eyes on them, but Leon is suddenly distracted by the sound of glass shattering. As he wonders where the noise came from, Vey rushes in and tackles Carlo, stopping him from burning the captives. Vey then breaks down into tears as he begs for Leon to stop everything he was doing, expressing that his life was now a complete mess because of him and that as a result of his actions, he was now broke, not having any money to fill the briefcase with even if he wanted it.
He then explains that he didn't have a choice and therefore couldn't be blamed for leaving him behind, having been mistaken, and asks why Leon didn't understand him and how he doesn't realize he was trying to get revenge on someone on his own side for eight months after the crash. Leon then overhears that Vey wouldn't want to live his life due to their brutal rivalry and suffering, resulting in him having a change of heart. Finally showing regret for the whole ordeal, Leon walks up to him in an attempt to comfort him, but Carlo, refusing to be betrayed, fatally shoots him in the chest, leading to Vey getting enraged as he pins Carlo down to the floor, asking him why he had to kill his old friend, but there was no answer as he was then knocked out. Shortly after dealing with Carlo, Leon is taken to the hospital as he then tells Vey that he is his only friend, before passing out.
Death & Epilogue[]
Unfortunately, in the hospital, Leon would die from his wound on his hospital bed, as Vey sits next to him mourning his death. Carlo Bear, his killer, wasn't found by the police, but is still on the run, possibly in hiding.
Ten years later, in 2036, Leon's grave is visited by an older Vey and his wife Suda, as the former mentions that he didn't forget about him after all these years, mentioning that every day he reminds of the times he passed with him before the infamous plane crash that changed their lives forever as it resulted in the end of a long-lasting friendship that led to a conflict which ended with his death. He then wished that he would've came to witness their wedding. He then starts crying as his wife comforts him, telling him that it is alright and that they should just go back home.
