9209 is one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Smilechump) of Season 1 of the Minecraft social experiment web series The State Experiments created by ish.
He serves as a major protagonist in Day 2, a minor protagonist in Day 3, the main protagonist of Day 4, a supporting protagonist in Day 7, a supporting antagonist in Day 8, a minor antagonist in Day 10, the secondary antagonist of Day 11 and a posthumous antagonist in the Aftermath.
He is a player who took part in the first season of the State Experiment and became the ruler of the Jungle State following its leadership election. Although he started off with good intentions and was genuinely noble, he became corrupt when he forged alliance with Solev and became part of the Solev Union.
He was portrayed by the Minecraft player of the same name.
Appearance[]
9209 is a brown anthropomorphic monkey wearing a bronze crown with silver jewels, a dark gray shirt with bronze shoulder pads, white pants, black boots and a brown cape.
Personality[]
Out of all the antagonists in the first season of the State Experiment, 9209 is by far the least villainous. While he is extreme in the lengths, he'll take to maintain his civilization, he genuinely cares about his citizens and did his absolute best to protect them from ItsMagicMikey's vengeful wrath. Even after joining Solev, he still opted to protect his citizens from who he perceived as aggressors.
That being said, 9209 is still heavily corrupt, as he knowingly associated with Solev in spite of his tyrannical rule, implying that he agrees with his actions and approves of tyranny in general, despite never treating his citizens in a similar fashion. Even after Solev's empire dissolved, 9209 welcomed Solev with open arms and protected him from the United Sands, impeding on their mission to establish world peace by getting rid of Solev and the tyrannical legacy he left.
History[]
Days 2-11[]
9209 as a leadership candidate.
On Day 2, the Jungle State decided to have an election to elect a leader for their island. 9209 was one of two candidates, alongside ItsMagicMikey. Mikey pitched that he become a totalitarian dictator and execute anyone who opposed his rule, whereas 9209 promised that he would bring a government with checks and balances and citizen rights. Unsurprisingly, 9209 won the election and became the ruler of the Jungle State, prompting Mikey and his remaining followers to leave the volcano and start their own civilization deep in the jungle.
On Day 3, 9209 became aware of an attack that Mikey was planning and quickly gathered his military forces to prepare for battle to protect their home.

On Day 4, the Jungle Civil War began 9209 admitted to ish that he tried his hardest to maintain the peace while Mikey kept on disrupting it, opting to go to war with Mikey and kill him and his followers to put an end to his chaos. As Mikey invaded the volcano and began attacking its citizens, 9209 and his militia became aware of his whereabouts and descended the volcano, fighting back against the attack until Mikey's followers began fleeing. Mikey continued to fight, but eventually fell to his death while attempting to perform a water bucket clutch. Mikey's soldiers subsequently surrendered and became part of 9209's civilization. When talking with ish, 9209 commented on Mikey's death, calling it a fitting death and that he was greatly entertained by it all.
On Day 7, 9209 and his citizens, after deliberation, opted to leave the volcano and move elsewhere in the hopes of starting anew and would end up settling near LegacyAN's house, forming a new civilization.
On Day 8, 9209 and the rest of the Jungle State began building a giant structure called "The Wooden Fence". He had also managed to establish an alliance with Solev. Eventually, 9209 got word that Kumazaki, the geo-political expert of the Snow State, was plotting to end Solev's tyrannical rule over the island and had reached out to other leaders to join him. 9209 declined the invitation and reported the information to Solev himself, resulting in Kumazaki being killed.
On Day 10, 9209 officially joined forces with Solev and formed the Solev Union.

On Day 11, the United Sands, a global faction consisting of the Desert and Plains States, surrounded the Snow Island and attacked his forces, resulting in Solev fleeing to the Jungle State where he was welcomed and shielded by 9209, instructing him to remain in the Wooden Fence in case the United Sands made their way to the island. Sure enough, the United Sands arrived at the Jungle State and began attacking as 9209, Solev and the rest of the jungle citizens rained arrows from above. The United Sands eventually got the idea to build above the Wooden Fence using jungle trees and descended onto the build to attack. As 9209 fought, he was eventually killed by a player named giannator and soon after, Solev also met his well-deserved end.
Aftermath[]
Following the end of the war, the Solev Union dissolved and the remaining citizens and soldiers who fought alongside 9209 fled into the jungle where they created a new secret civilization in the hopes to live in peace alongside the remaining snow citizens. At some point, a graveyard appeared on the Snow Island to honor those who perished in the war.
