Abaddon is the titular main antagonist of the Terraria shadows of Abaddon mod, he is a being from the planet known as Syrus who opened portals to Terraria, causing other syrusians to appear in this world.
Appearence[]
Abaddon is a large, somewhat humanoid being with black skin. He has six horn-like protrusions on his head, the tallest of which seem to be generating electricity, and apears to have six glowing purple eyes. Abaddon's arms have things resembling wings attached to them, and a fire-like shadowy substance surrounds his head. Where legs would be, there is instead a large purple flame.
Biography[]
An unknown amount of time before the moded game's events, Abaddon came across a world known as Terraria. Taking interest in the planet, Abaddon opened various portals to this world, causing other syrusians, including the heir to the throne of Syrus' moon and his siblings, and Erazor, a supposed former monarch, to end up lost in Terraria. Abaddon also began giving people nightmares, as stated by some NPCs.
An item known as the Nightmare Catcher is able to be crafted in the mod's endgame, which summons Abaddon as a boss. He is seemingly killed after this battle, but dialouge from Erazor suggests that Abaddon might still be out there.
