Abdul Alhazred the Mad is a villain Multiversal Legends, being a major antagonist of Pandora Hunters webcomic series. Originally, he was once a sorcerous apprentice to Master Mueller, Earth's most powerful wizard and it's protector, however he was soon driven mad after using dark magic via the Necronomicon. He becomes a delusional, treacherous megalomaniac with a twisted way of wanting to "save the human race" regardless how horrific his crimes are.

Abdul is a murderous, psychotic, delusional, and at times he is sadistic. He views himself as a hero, murdering those he deems as evil beings regardless of the circumstance, no matter how minor the crime is. Abdul also is highly ruthless and unstable, so much so that even his former mentor Mueller stated he belongs in insane asylum. He is relentless in his pursuit of "saving" the planet, no matter how horrific the crime is from insisting in evil experimentation, mass murder, genocide, and insisting Niklovich into attempting to cleanse the world as a means for him to have a fresh start, going so far as deeming his crimes as nothing but beneficial to the world. Because of this, he sincerely does want to protect the planet, just that his insanity makes him perform incredibly evil deeds and removed his proper sense of right and wrong, removing all of his conscience.
Though despite all of his horrible actions, Abdul genuinely believes that what he does is for the sake for the world even if his actions obviously doesn't do anything beneficial for the human race at all. Mueller himself once stated that while his methods are cruel and unjustifying, Abdul is simply just a insane nutjob and not someone who is completely evil overall and would've stayed a good person if it weren't for his insanity. He supports this that he was once a simple man who grew addicted to his dark magic and his book like a drug which soon started to warp his mind completely: With his sense of right and wrong being twisted, a reversed sense of it. To him, he sincerely views deeds what others considered evil as nothing but purely good, while deeds considered good as pure evil.
His delusions and insanity is so strong that even common logic doesn't apply to him anymore, using various illogical excuses for his actions. Him murdering thousands being an example of this, as he believe that death itself protects them from ever having to face potential dangers ever again. He also genuinely seem to understand that what he does, is simply purely evil and atrocious, even going so far as to question others on why they claim that he's a monster while he insist that's he's a heroic savior.
Abdul also has respects for those around him, even to his enemies, even try to "redeem" them by trying to convince them to join his cause should he deem them as evil, similar to how a hero would try to change the villain's ways and become good. Though should this fail, he would go with extreme length to kill them off even in cruel manners.

- He's based and named after on Abdul Alhazred from H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos with some differences:
- He never wrote the Necronomicon, instead it was Nyarlathotep who wrote the book and use it to drive Abdul insane.
- Abdul is known as "The Mad Monk" instead of the "Mad Arab".
