Ace the Scientist

Ace, also known as The Scientist, is a minor antagonist in rezendeevil's 2017 first live-action YouTube horror series, based on real facts, Invasor: A Série (Invader: The Series), who serves as a minor antagonist in the second half.

He is known only for having been bargained by The Invader into making a powerful poison for him so he could use in his next intentions against Rezende and his crew.

He was portrayed by one of Pedro Rezende's friends named César (whose nickname is Ace).

Plot[]

When Rezende and Dexter heard about the place where The Invader's helper was killed by Rodrigues while trying to flee, they found The Invader's hidden old phone with which The Invader would contact Ace once he confirmed the "product" was done. Rezende and Rodrigues perceives it by checking one of the phone calls they get while at Rodrigues's house, where Ace says it was ready and that he would meet him at the crossing of two streets and that he would be wearing a grey shirt, so The Invader would recognize him. Since Ace didn't know the phone was stolen from The Invader, Rezende planned to go disguised as The Invader, by wearing black shorts and sweatshirt and a ski mask hiding his face.

Rezende meets Ace while Dexter and Rodrigues hid behind bushes, and Rezende manages to discover what the scientist had made for The Invader. He hands "The Invader" the flask and tells him to be careful with it, for one drop was enough. As Rezende was leaving, Ace calls his attention again asking about his payment, Rezende, most probably confused with what he should do, approaches Ace with the intention to intimidate him and makes a phone sign with his right hand, making Ace get it as he would be calling him to settle it later on, then both leaves that place.

The Invader was able to find out his phone was taken from the place where he had put it, since he looks for it and doesn't find it, and he knew it was Rezende who took it from its place.

After trying to manipulate Rezende into using, himself, the poison on Rodrigues, he meets Ace again and approaches him as he asks if he brought his payment, but The Invader angry taunts him and tells he handed the flask to someone else disguised as him, and Ace tried to get away with it by saying he had no way at the moment to know it was someone else behind the dark clothing, as The Invader pushes Ace down to the ground in anger. The Invader offers to pay him anyways, in exchange for another favor of his, and Ace accepts it.

Some time later, Rodrigues got a notification of a dead body found in the same place where The Invader stays as his hideout or cottage. They go there fearing it would be Adriano's corpse, since The Invader had kidnapped Adriano and was still keeping him hostage by the moment. When they move the covering plastic away, they reveal the corpse to be actually Ace's, who had just been made another of The Invader's victims.

Later on, after The Invader was unmasked, along with all the story behind, he mocked Ace's death saying that he cause his own death. The Invader was being kept locked away into Cadet Rodrigues's home after he was caught, but after Adriano began to feel sick and fainted, The Invader revealed his plan to escape from his exile in the Cadet's house, which was asking Ace, before killing him, to make a poison which would gradually act upon someone within days, manipulating Rodrigues into releasing him because he said he had the antidote for Adriano, which was later revealed by Rodrigues and his police department to be an actual poison, proving Rezende's fear to be right and proving The Invader, again, to be a manipulative cold-blooded criminal who always has strategies to make himself get away from anything, even by harming others.

Trivia[]

  • Ace was The Invader's most weak and short-lasting right-hand he has ever had. Though he was a major cause for The Invader and his story to be unmasked and finally revealed.
  • "Invader: The Series" was the first series where the real César "Ace" took part in rezendeevil's channel, allowing his further played characters in other series as a major character.
