Admiral Sindow is the secondary antagonist of the 2022 fanfilm Princess Bride II.
He is the admiral of Florin's navy forces and Prince Renuard's second in command captain. He is also Inigo Montoya's second archenemy, as well as the foe of Darrius Wesley.
He is portrayed by Alfie Allen.
History[]
He was tasked by the adopted prince of Florin and Humperdinck's son, Daniel Renuard, to assist his plans and serve as his second in command while they've both plotted to tear King Craigel and Wesley's influence apart, and to use the royal crystal for world dominance.
However, unlike Renuard who wanted both power and to sadistically fight his enemies, Sindow wast bent on personally destroying his foes completely, both mentally and physically, mainly by imprisoning and horrifically torturing them with Rugen's old research and some newer, more advanced equipment.
Sindow at first requests full command, under Humperdinck and Renuard's guindance, from King Craigel, with Clayton's help, in order to "defeat the criminal Ren". Ren however was framed by Humperdinck, Runeard and their allies in actual, for their actions.
Sindow later comes with many of his guards to imprison Wesley, Inigo Montoya and Darrius Wesley under Renuard's orders. However, as he sees Inigo's need for a fight against him, as he was the killer of Inigo's older brother in the past few years, he quickly agrees to have a battle against him. He also reveals Inigo that if he completes his tasks, he shall get a reward of 30 million tons of gold (and it is unknown wether Renuard shall keep his promise or not).
He quickly manages to defeat and kill Inigo, and he arrests Wesley just before he also arrests both Darrius and Ren who came to help.
Ren however escapes and defeats the navy forces around the prison. While Ren rescues the princess from Peter the Great and Jared Clawson, Sindow orders his most prominent enforcer Douglas to bring them to his new and modernized torture chamber.
As they enter the torture chamber by force, Admiral Sindow arrives and reveals that based on Count Rugen's research, he has improved and modernized the torture chamber and it's equipment in very, very horrific ways. He sadistically tortures Wesley, killing him. The angered Darrius avenges his father and begins to fight the admiral, eliminating Douglas in the process.
Admiral Sindow almost kills Darrius, but as he runs to stab Darrius and end him for good, Darrius surprisingly lifts up his sword and manages to stab Sindow.
Personality[]
Admiral Sindow is a ruthless megalomaniac. Just like Count Tyrone Rugen from the original first film, Sindow is obsessed with torture and bloodshed.
He is shown to be loyal to Renuard and Humperdinck. However, this is most likely just because he enjoys killing enemies and gaining money from his superiors. He is shown to be very monstrous.
