Albrecht Bright, the being who would later be known as Mister Aebyst Blight is a villain in Multiversal Legends, first appearing as the secondary antagonist of Forces. He is a mad scientist who experimented on the darkest of magic and energies, experiments that ended up turning him into a being composed of a combination of both. Aebyst uses his new abilities to perform a series of graphic murders, but what he does most of all is trapping his victims in paintings leading to a pocket dimension so he could feed on their souls.
He's one of Master Mueller's archenemies, whom he was the one who imprisoned him in the Pandora Dimension and now seeks vengeance. He later joins up with Xuriah D'arcmast'r and works as one of his goons. It was also revealed he helped Xuriah escape prison so both of them could get their revenge on Mueller for defeating them in the past.
He is voiced by XOBITES, who also voiced Niklovich from the same franchise, THOUGHT from Rememberence, Shadow Aaron from Character What, Alan Jackson from Lifetime Manifest, Pride from Rethilor: A War of Sins and Virtues, Duncan Gree from the HuniePop series, and The Virus from All Aboard Death.

Origins[]
Dr. Albrecht Bright was a demon who’s dimension of birth is yet to be known, but was stated that he existed either before or since humanity began to exist thanks to the Prime Alphas and the prime alpha Prometheus.
He was an evil, evil man who performed the most deranged and abominable experiments for his sick curiosity. He stated he was never appreciated for his intellect before he donned the fearsome upgrade he has today until one day, he decided to practice the dark arts of magic fused with forbidden science but used himself as a test subject which ended up transforming himself into an entity of dark matter, energy and magic. WIth his new powers and appearance, he became mad with his new powers and went off on a killing spree that lasted for 200 hundred years.
Locked in the Pandora Dimension[]
One day, he encounters the wizard Master Mueller whom he battled and lost too. Ever since, the two became sworn enemies that lasted for decades until Mueller defeated him and freed the countless souls Aebyst trapped in his paintings. He was put in prison within the Pandora Dimension, and ever since he has been plotting to get his revenge on Mueller.
During his time in prison, he meets Xuriah D’arcmast’r who also shares a common hatred for the wizard (if not any hero in general) and the two plotted on escaping and to get their revenge on Mueller by destroying the Earth and the Pandora Dimension. Aebyst secretly helped provide Xuriah the means of escaping, from rigging the chips that were keeping Xuriah’s powers at bay and giving him the idea of releasing the prisoners to use as an army for themselves to lead.
He secretly has been sending messages to other prisoners of this plan, but only those he can entrust and place faith on if they’re willing to go with it. This plan lasted for years, due to the complex security of the Pandora Dimension and the amount of prison guards there were. So, both Xuriah and Aebyst have been patiently and carefully planning their escape ever since then.
Beyond Dimensions[]
After their plans succeeded, Aebyst would meet up with Xuriah and the evil dark lord Shadow Ahriman whom gives him a vial of dark energy to regain his strength. After a bloody massacre ensued in one of the prisons of Pandora, they now lead an army of convicts and evil-doers, now calling themselves "The Army of the Wicked" with Aebyst and Ahriman acting as Xuriah's right and left-hand man.
Appearance[]
Aebyst is a demon entirely composed of both dark energies of dark magic, with his whole body being entirely black. But he often wears a white bowtie, white gloves, and white shoes (or boots). His eyes are something out of a cartoon, white and having black pupils shaped like rectangles, and has perfect white teeth. He also frequently smiles wickedly in almost any situation.
He takes multiple shapes, but he usually takes the shape of a humanoid with long hair and his body makes it look like he's dressing in a trench coat of some kind. Then there's time his shape is simpler, being bald, no trench coat, but what remains consistent in his forms is that he always has his white bowtie and red outlines on his design. His true form is that of a hulking demon, with long sharp hair and a long tail with a sharp-as-knives stinger at the end of it. He can shapeshift into black oozes and uses them as a physical shell for himself and his energy body.

Aebyst is a psychopathic demon, and a pompous egomaniac who believes he's the greatest artist and evil genius there is. He tends to dismiss his foes, especially Mueller, as true artists and commonly mock his enemies (and even allies too) that they lack style to them. However, he always spoke softly and rarely raised his voice, donning a smile of unhingeness all while trying to put up a polite facade. One of the few moments he ever stops smiling was when he was imprisoned in the Pandora Dimension, where he is shown to be clearly dismayed and frustrated due to being unable to continue spreading his madness.
He is arrogant, self-centered and shows cases of smugness, showing confidence in his abilities while often claiming he is one of the smartest beings alive and the greatest artist to exist for which he takes pride. What he hates most of all is his nemesis, Master Mueller, whom he often considers himself as his #1 foe: and those who disrespect him and his abilities which he has zero tolerance on. He takes pride in his scientific skills, and magical powers he gained from his experiments, but once often tries to perform more experiments on others for his twisted curiosity on what would've happened next. This trait, though less shown in favor of his artistic flamboyant behavior, is still intact as well as his scientific curiosity as he still performs his usual mad science experiments.
One of the more noticeable traits of him is his extreme sadism, and clear insanity of his personality. After the experiments he did onto himself, he became more psychotic than he was before making an already vile creature into an even worse monstrosity. He is often compared to a serial killer in demon’s skin and takes glee trapping his victims in paintings for him to constantly feed on their souls. He fully admits he enjoys seeing the terror, madness and fear from his victims most of all, concepts he feeds off of to make him stronger. His extent of his insanity is shown fully that he later became an omnicidal maniac fully willing to try to bring about the end of all creation across the multiverse as he fully believed all life exists solely to end. Having gained some semblance of nihilism because of his transformation, having claimed he believes in “The pure absolute nothingness within the void” and craves for destruction of everything else. Going so far as to attempt to raise an army of the dead to spread across the Earth. His depravity can even border down on straight barbarism, as he is shown to eat people he comes across, only for the fun of it.
Despite his sadistic insanity, he has a strong affinity for art, painting, and sculptures making his own paintings in his past when not in his killing spree and despises those who show zero respect for it. He loves art so much that he couldn’t resist the chance of accepting Mueller’s challenge on who could make the best paintings which would end up being his downfall. He was shown to enjoy watching documentaries centering around sculpture and paintings throughout civilization, and his Bio stating that he enjoyed watching “The Joy of Life” the most which is where he adopted his soft-spoken personality from. He is also manipulative and a calculating creature, capable of making plans and schemes such as when he and Xuriah orchestrated the mass jailbreak of several Pandora prisoners.
He seems to hold Xuriah with some level of respect, and noticeably the only person he ever holds such a thing in contrast to his usual belief and superiority complex. He also was very willing to take orders from Xuriah and act as something of a right-hand to him, going as far as to admit he’s vastly more powerful than him as well as being more knowledgeable in military tactics and strategy. He and Xuriah act as if they're friends, even willing to play chess with him in one occasion, very similar to G. Nöms relationship with the tyrant. However, this was limited, as he admits to Mueller while battling him that his goal still contrasts his and plans to betray him so he could continue his antics of mass destruction and chaos. Though he is also shown to be pragmatic, and capable of knowing powerful allies do require some levels of respect to keep them loyal. So he puts on his polite facade as long as they live up to his expectations.
Powers[]
- Umbrakinesis: His body is described as complete darkness and can control shadows with ease. He can use this power to phase through shadows of other people and objects, if not control the person. His power can also make him use shadow puppetry and can cause great harm to the person through this.
- Body manipulation: Can warp his body into many shapes, especially into weapons to kill his foes. Such weapons like a tommy gun
- Accelerated healing: Can heal from almost any wound inflicted on him, causing major difficulty in defeating him. The only thing that can do harm to him if not kill him is light magic, and antimatter.
- Toonforce; His whole power can be this, as using mere paint can be used by him to make constructs as well as paint out of thin air to summon them and make monsters. He can even make small pocket dimensions and manipulate them. Most of his constructs being something out of a cartoon, especially pulling weapons out of nowhere at times such as a mallet.
- Palletakinesis: He created inks monsters, and covered himself in paint like substance that acts as some sort of shell for his body. He can also manipulate paint to his advantage and make weapons through them and could warp reality with his portrait worlds.
- Transformation: Has transformed into several monstrous forms, from humanoid to demonic, to one being a more doglike creature and at times into other nightmarish creatures like spiders to donning a clownlike appearance.
- Dark Arts Magic: Is a practitioner of the dark arts and has shown some magical attacks of his own against Master Mueller. It also helps on his part that he’s almost entirely made of dark magic himself.
- Altering reality: Shows some to some extent in the pocket dimension where his paintings lead too, where he can use the paintings to trap his victims and foes in these dimensions and control the areas around them if not destroy them if he wishes.
- Absorption: His body is described as being a living void, any attack can absorb magical attacks and other projectiles. It is also revealed that one can fall into him as one would fall into a deep whole, stuck within him possibly forever.
- Necrokinesis: Can control the dead and use them as an army for himself, only as long as he is in a graveyard.
- Absolute Decay: Whenever he removes his gloves, his touch can destroy anything. Making the object or person decay to the point that they are stated to be reduced to mere molecules agonizingly and added to himself within the void.
- Ergokinesis: Being made of dark energy, his body itself can be deadly as it can absorb energy (particularly negative energies).
Skills[]
- Genius intellect: Is an evil mastermind, mad scientist, and stated to be an expert practitioner of the dark arts. He is perfectly capable of orchestrating complex plans and schemes, as well as being one of the masterminds behind the mass prison break of the Pandora Dimension, which was planned for years, and was the one who managed to deactivate the chip that was depowering Xuriah. He can be quite strategic and show some levels of tactics in battle (though not on the level as Xuriah) that are shown to be useful.
- Manipulation: Convinced several demons into helping him and Xuriah in their goals, showing some levels of charisma and affability to gain followers, some being loyal to him and Xuriah.
Weaknesses[]
- Light Magic: He can be weakened by attacks by light magic that contrast the dark magic side to him, as it can do great harm to him. As Ben learns this, he threw a bomb containing light magic and threw it inside Aebyst which exploded inside him and destroyed his body temporarily. Though it won’t kill him, it can weaken him for temporary amounts of time.
- Antimatter and Dark Matter collision: The one thing that could possibly kill him, as a fusion with dark matter and antimatter could cause both particles to destroy him, causing an explosion and burst of energy which could kill him.
- Body limitation: He must keep devouring dark magic and negative energies to keep his body stable, as a lack of one may weaken him thus reducing him to a mere ball of energy.
- Anti-Magic Items: Self-explanatory as part of his body is made of evil magic, which can defeat that side of him though not defeat him overall. But it will leave a major disadvantage to him.

Trivia[]
- His characteristics are based on Bob Ross himself, as well as his scientific background and original appearance are based on Bill Nye. As he was meant to be a twisted fusion of both of them. He is also supposed to have some traits of the Shadow Plot from the first Epic Mickey. His appearance is also drawn from Mister Nobody from DC's Doom Patrol series.
- He’s meant to replace an old concept idea for an ML storyline, where originally a demon version of Bob Ross himself would have served Mueller’s archenemy and rival and was supposed to be the one Xuriah sends to deal with the heroes. However, Aebyst was made and replaced him in that role.
- “Aebyst” is meant to be a play on the word “Abyss”, with his cataclysmic goal meant to serve as something fitting for his name and characteristics.
