Agate Lightvale is the central antagonist of Glitchtale: Continued Season 2 And one of the main antagonists of the entire AU. Being Agate Lightvale now resurrected from the dead through Osore corrupting another human. With the Bete Noire Spell now forced on her, she has grown stronger than ever before. Planning to use it to wipe out monsterkind and rule over Humankind, in an age where Humanity will suffer for her amusement.
Appearance[]
Overall, Agate's design resembles her canon self, she has orange robes, pink hair, and she wields a spear in battle. Though there are cases her hair fan lower into pink like Bete Noire's hair But when hate corrupted, she gains differences, notably how her eyes fade into a pink glow and the hate can cover her body. When Osore covers her, he also takes a form like his original self but large and humanoid, with a similar shape like her body but now distorted. In the Hate form of Osore when enveloping her, he appears gigantic, gains 4 arms, a singular eye, pink lines along his head, 4 long tentacle horns, a sharp toothed grinning mouth extending to the sides, and a body appearing as a huge mass of Hate resembling a cloth of sorts.
Personality[]
Agate shows a sadistic nature to her. She wants to see all monsters die and all humans live as tortured slaves. Seeing anyone in her way as just fools to slaughter, killing dozens of monsters and humans to steal their magic and grow stronger. She also is highly arrogant and sees herself above all other beings, enraged at this ego being damaged. However, most if not all of this nature is due to Osore's grip on her. If he is weakened or his hold is split from her, another different aspect of her reveals. A completely psychotic side. In this state, she will become near feral, lashing out with sheer relentlessness and destructive intent. At this point, her reserved and exploitative fighting style changes to that of a berserker. Fighting with no sort of tricks or plans, just relentless attacks, even sometimes changing from standing upright to rushing forth with both arms and legs, even if not all the time. But deep underneath her inverse spell and Osore's influence, her original consciousness has formed deep inside, but is mostly trapped by the spell, and her inner self feels absolute misery from her inverted trait and being turned into a mere slave to a construct of magic.
Powers & Skills[]
Agate's main weapon is her Spear. But alongside such, she has similar powers to the Bravery soul but now corrupted, such as her ability to fire compressed magic spheres that can explode. She also has the Bete Noire's Energy Arrow attack and her Soul Spear, alongside such, she can construct Fear Energy in whatever form she prefers, whether for attack or defense. Alongside that, like Bete, she can gather energy into a construct of Fear and give it life. Creating an army of said creatures to fight by her side. She also can use her Illusions on others, whether using a painful memory to shock them or using the illusions to simple impair them. Commonly using the former, alongside such, she can delve into the memories of others to see what causes the most pain or fear. Her most notable way of fighting is also handled by her assistant and Akumu aspect, Osore. Who not only is an incarnate of her magic, but the one truly leading the duo and even the one keeping her alive. If Osore dies, she will begin to slowly die as well. However, her trait will also break with it.
Trivia[]
- Continue's Agate is much more of an active evil than the original, making her show more of a presence and impact.
- While the canon Agate was only possibly tragic, this one is definitely tragic, with her original self imprisoned underneath her inverse trait.
