Garfield Periwinkle, better known as Jack Rorick, is the secondary antagonist of the YouTube series, Disaster Almighty.
He is a federal agent trying to neutralize Conor Powell, believing that he is a dangerous threat to Earth. He despises extraterrestrials and other creatures and wants to eliminate them all. He serves Tyrone Garrison, since he gave him the technology he needed.
Personality[]
As a member of the federal agency, Rorick is fiercely loyal to the United States and is willing to do anything save humanity and establish peace, order and balance to the entire planet. Yet at the same time, he is malicious, bigoted and hypocritical, as he arrogantly thinks Conor Powell is a threat. Before Rorick became a federal agent he used to be a fan boy of Conor and wanted to be like him, but everybody mocked him for it, even his parents found him embarrassing, so he blamed Conor Powell for everybody not taking him seriously even though he had nothing to do with it.
He is very delusional since he sought to exterminate all extra dimensional beings and identifies all life forms to be public threats towards humanity. He even hypocritically chose to work with an evil threat, Tyrone Garrison, and foolishly thinks that he is the leader the world deserves, thus having beliefs that it would be better under his tyrannical rule. He also believes that the beings who are good have no honor and he kills them using a powerful disintegrator cannon, he also tortures them for sadistic pleasure using an electric shock. He is also very gullible when it comes to falling for tricks, as shown when Dante and Billy pretended to be pizza delivery men on the phone and put an empty pizza box on the front door with a note on it saying “You have been tricked, signed Dante Rodriguez.” In order for them to rescue Conor and Eudora. Rorick was so ignorant that Tyrone took advantage of that and turned him into one of his pawns.
He has proven to be a massive coward, as he made his men fight Conor, Eudora, Billy and Dante for him while he was biding his time to obliterate them. When Conor and Billy combined their powers to take him down, he cowardly fled. When he was being confronted by the Ancients in the afterlife, he cowardly begged for mercy even though he insulted them and claimed that he will have order. And when the Ancients put him in a cage he fearfully screams as he’s being sent to Limbo to rot there for eternity as punishment for the abuse and murder of countless innocent otherworldly creatures.
In the afterlife when Conor and Cheyenne tried to reason with Rorick and told him that Tyrone was the real enemy, he still believed that Conor was a deceitful menace. When he did realize that Tyrone was evil, he ignorantly thought Conor turned Tyrone into a monster and blamed him for the Omniverse being broken. He claims that he did everything in honor of the Ancients and wanted to be rewarded as the savior of humanity, but the Ancients refused to do anything for him since Rorick was a genocidal, xenophobic and deranged person.
Rorick is extremely petty and childish when he doesn’t get his way, barely being able to contain his rage when dealing with Conor and his allies.
