Agon is a minor character in the fanfic story, The Pure Good's Fanatic which is the sequel of Shake On The Run, He serves as a supporting character in the Craig of the Creek portion of the story. He is a Yo-kai who Negatibuzz appoints as his conversion camp's director.
Personality[]
As Negatibuzz stated, Agon is "strict, ruthless, and intolerant of dissent". This isn't far from the truth as Agon does display himself as being overly strict and ruthless and is as hateful towards dissent as Negatibuzz is. Unlike Negatibuzz, rather than killing those who show dissent, he inspirits them by throwing heavy metal discs at their backs to give them back pain. He also admits to Craig that he is so cruel to the point that he is fine with fighting children. His cruelty is fully established once he reveals that fear and cruelty is what he believes to be the best way to garner respect. His inspiriting ability also further demonstrates his cruelty as he hurts people's backs for no reason seemingly beyond just malice.
Appearance[]
As he is a fanon version of Agon, he looks exactly like him. Agon is a Yo-kai that has a round scarlet head with teal star-shaped marks on his closed eyes. He also has a tuft of brown hair on top and a goatee. He also has a blue body wearing a dark-gray vest with a yellow omamori hanging from his neck, dark-gray pants tied with a belt and carries two dumbbells and has a long gray pipe clenched in his yellow teeth. He is the rare counterpart of Payn.
History[]
Earlier Information[]
According to Negatibuzz, he is friends with Agon. How they met and became friends is unknown. He is also implied to be fairly infamous as all other characters except Negatibuzz appear to fear him which shows he is quite dreaded.
Shake On The Run[]
Although Agon does not appear in Shake On The Run, it is obvious that he was killed by the Uggie Wuggie Virus after Shake contaminated Earth with a spreading glitchy blob-like mass that ate away much of Earth and killed everyone on it. After Frylock destroyed Shake and consumed his power, he restored reality to its original state and revived everyone who was alive prior including Agon.
The Pure Good's Fanatic[]
Agon's presence is bult up as after Negatibuzz decided to turn the creek into a conversion camp prison-like facility, he wanted a friend who he knows as "strict, ruthless, and intolerant of dissent" to serve as the camp's director. Craig (who is pretending to be happy with Negatibuzz's ideas to not get killed) says it's great and this person sounds like a fun guy. Fidgephant becomes scared as he and Craig are starting to catch on to who the director is. After Negatibuzz announces the director is Agon, Craig's cheerful facade breaks as he is afraid of Agon. Craig fearfully asks Negatibuzz if he is friends with Agon as Kelsey, JP, and Peckpocket (who has been harassing Craig) are visibly disturbed as well. Agon then falls from the sky and lands in the creek as everyone there are intimidated by him. Craig begs Negatibuzz to not have Agon serve as the director, but Negatibuzz refuses since Agon meets the credentials of the ideal director he wants. Craig continues displaying his fear as Negatibuzz praises Agon by calling him awesome and cool. Craig says that he wouldn't call Agon cool and says he is "not very nice". Negatibuzz does a "hmm" noise in disapproval to intimidate Craig into submission. Craig then praises Agon by saying he is a great leader for people who like being told what to do. Negatibuzz then has all present creek kids gather so he can announce "Operation Crackdown". Fidgephant and Craig agree that what is to come is bad as Negatibuzz reveals he intends to "crackdown" on "Pure Good neglect". Negatibuzz let's Agon take it from there and Agon announces that changes will go on. Agon asks the creek kids if they don't care about "The Pure Good" only to say that it will change today. He then announces that the creek kids will be trapped within the creek so no one will get in or out, cage bars then pop out of the ground to block out all potential exits. Agon then decides to demonstrate what happens to anyone who attempts to resist. He forces JP to turn around (being inconsiderate of his broken leg) and he throws a heavy metallic disk at his back to inspirit him. This of course causes JP back pain, and he collapses on the ground. Craig angrily asks Agon why he did that only for Agon to remind him that it was a demonstration on how rebels get punished. Craig becomes angrier to the point of raising his voice at Agon, telling him he can't hurt people and tells him that JP is in intense pain. Agon responds with "Ya wanna act tough" which intimidates Craig, but he still tells Agon that hurting people is wrong. Agon then intimidates Craig by pulling up another disk and tells him to "keep it up and you earn yourself a f*cked up back". Craig then tries to calm down and tries telling Agon that there has to be a better way to discipline rebels instead of hurting them, he later says what Agon is doing is ridiculous and cruel. Negatibuzz tells Craig that fear is the best way to earn respect, but Craig still protests, saying it isn't real respect, and it is just people being too scared to disagree or question him since they know they will get hurt. Agon then back's up Negatibuzz by saying "The best political weapon is the weapon of terror. Cruelty commands respect. Men may hate us. But we don't ask for their love, only for their fear". Craig denounces Agon for his insane and despicable beliefs. Agon questions if Craig is showing dissent and Craig, who is intimidated says it is "constructive criticism". Agon starts to threaten Craig and reveals he is fine with fighting children. Craig becomes more scared as Agon threatens to fight Craig. Craig says he doesn't want to fight Agon unless it is a friendly sparring match which he doubts. After Agon resumes his threats, Kelsey decides to challenge him instead to protect Craig from his wrath, telling Agon he has to get through her if he wants to fight Craig. JP tries to get the two to stop their antics and Agon punches Kelsey in the face, giving her a black eye and blood oozing from her mouth as she pathetically tumbles to the ground. Craig becomes enraged but Fidgephant tells him to stop fighting as it will only make things worse. Craig tries to tell Fidgephant that he wants to defend Kelsey, but he reminds him that he can't fight Agon and Craig begrudgingly accepts this fact. Agon then reveals that construction to make the creek into a concentration camp will start now and a team of construction workers instantaneously construct the camp over the creek, much to Craig's sorrow. Agon then forces the kids to repeat "It's time for Operation Crackdown. Comply or face max punishment. Although you view him as a jerk the Pure Good wants to give you smirks, in Operation Crackdown". Craig refuses as he views it as brainwashing, but Fidgephant insists he does it, so he won't get hurt. Agon then gives out copies of "The Bibble" for the creek kid prisoners to read. He also tells them that "The Pure Good" will be their biggest concern once they are done reading (something that he was unfortunately right about). The creek kids are forced to read the Bibble for the next 24 hours even to the point they weren't allowed to sleep while Negatibuzz, Fidgephant, and Agon got sleep. By the next day, the creek kids are now completely submissive and exhausted with even Craig admitting defeat. Negatibuzz becomes overjoyed that their delirious sleepless nature mixed with the excessive mind-poisoning texts turned them into fanatical drones. He then forces the creek kids to repeat "The Pure Good is God, Frylock is buns, when the Pure Good comes back, it will be fun". Negatibuzz starts to praise the kids for being so "committed" to reading to the point they stayed up all night while he, Agon, and Fidgephant got sleep. He then grabs Fidgephant and flies away from the creek bidding farewell to the kids and Agon and reminds the kids that "The Pure Good" will always be with them as he says that he trusts Agon. Craig ends up becoming so exhausted to the point he falls asleep only for his nap to instantly be ruined after Agon gets the attention of the kids. Agon tells the kids that for a graded assignment, they must force their religion onto their families, and he threatens to inspirit any kid unfortunate enough to get a zero. Craig doesn't argue or rebel due to him being mentally broken (although he is deep down upset at what he is doing) and he and all other creek kids take Bibbles and depart as Agon laughs about the success of his idea (revealing that the idea of brainwashing the kids with lack of sleep and strictness was actually his idea) as Craig in one last act of defiance calls Agon a bastard as he obeys his orders, showing he still has deep hatred towards him despite his condition.
Trivia[]
- Agon's way of inspiritng others by throwing heavy metal disks at the back is a joke on how back pain is also referred to as a "slipped disc in a back".
- As Craig, his friends, Peckpocket, and all other Creek kids were all terrified by Agon, this implies he might be infamous.
- Agon's line, "If you think I'm above fighting children, you picked the wrong Yo-kai" references Sensei O'Sullivan, a character from Despicable Me 4.
- Agon's speech, "The best political weapon is the weapon of terror. Cruelty commands respect. Men may hate us. But we don't ask for their love, only for their fear" was directly taken from Heinrich Himmler.
