~ Airy introduces himself.

“ | After I found out I could plug the computer into one of the planets, I found a way to bring people from different places onto the planet. Once they were on the planet, they all got pretty scared, so, the best thing I could think of is to say.. it was a show. They would do challenges, get eliminated, and one would win. It sounded fun, but I didn't get very far. After Calculatory was the first one eliminated, I told them the next challenge was to throw your rock as far as you can. When I dropped the first one, it.. crushed the whole planet and the contestants were killed, too. At the time I didn't know how to respawn any of them, so.. it just ended the competition there. I spent the next years making sure the next competition would be better. Now I think I'm doing a pretty good job. | „ |
~ Airy talking about Season 1 of ONE, You Move, I Send.

Airy is the host and main antagonist of the YouTube animated web series ONE.
He is an anthropomorphic oil lamp who is the host of the titular game show he created. He would kidnap a total of eighteen people from different universes and force them to play and compete in another world with each other to win a prize, that being a wish for whatever the winner desires.
As the show goes on, the contestants are put in situations that affect their lives physically and mentally, with some dangerous and occasionally deadly. This results in some contestants wishing to leave the world Airy had brought them to, displaying his negligence to those he brought to his world.
He was voiced by Diamondcup67.
Personality[]
Airy seems, but it's shown that he is actually polite and laid-back, never being seen as anything more than cordial. He never gets angry and is typically in a calm mood, most notably towards Liam after being found, however, he shows that he is negligent about the contestants and their well-being. He is incapable of realizing the contestants' suffering due to being separated from their homes and is unaware that he is doing more harm than good by running the show.
Biography[]
Background[]
After dying in a car accident, Airy finds himself in The Waiting Room, and he uses the radio to find a universe where he can relax, spending years alone. This continued until he found a way to plug the computer into one of the planets. After a while, he managed to use the complicated code on the computer and created another planet called The Plane, where ONE would take place.
First Competition[]
Airy then transported a handful of random objects into The Plane. He then explained (to calm them down) that they were participating in a competition called ONE. After Oscar was eliminated, however, due to an accident on his end, a rock destroyed the planet, killing everyone on it. This was before he knew how to bring dead contestants back to The Plane, so the competition ended there. He then prepared to start a second competition.
Second Competition[]
Airy transported a second batch of contestants to play his competition. However, among these contestants, a key figure (that being Stone) finds out what's going on with the show. Airy continued the show as usual, pretending there were viewers. Also, in the middle of the competition, he would fall and crack himself, leaving the show alone for months.
Eventually, Liam, with the help of notes that Stone made, tracks down Bryce, also known as Soda Bottle, and they try to piece together what is going on. This rabbit hole leads Liam to Airy, while Bryce was sent back.
Confrontation[]
Upon visiting Airy's universe, Liam confronted Airy in a hidden area, and after their first impressions, and trying to find more information on him, he made a deal with Airy that he would send the current contestants back in trade for the pieces of the cassette player. However, after snooping on Airy's computer, he sees other people that he recognizes. When confronting Airy about it, it is revealed that after sending everyone back, Airy would pick new contestants who knew the cast, causing Liam to fly into a rage and try to kill him. However, Liam gets knocked out after accidentally getting his leg crushed by a fallen tree. Airy sends him back to his cabin and fixes him up. After another session of collecting reeds, Airy tries to return to his place, but since it rained previously, the river is overflowing over his wooden bridge. When trying to cross it, he slips, falls off, and dies when his glass head shatters after hitting a sharp rock, rendering him unable to keep his side of the deal. He is sent to the Waiting Room, but it appears to him as The Plane.
