Akrasiel is the secondary antagonist of the Sonic.exe: Blood Scream series.
He appears as the secondary antagonist of Sonic.exe: Blood Tears, specifically appearing as the main antagonist of its DLC Fall of the Angels. He is Executor's arch-nemesis.
He is a powerful archangel who uses his manipulative nature to trick Sonic's friends into believing that he'll save them from Executor's wrath and restore the world to normal. In reality, Akrasiel is a charismatic liar who wanted to recreate the world in his image after seeing the damage done to it by Executor.
Biography[]
Akrasiel was an archangel created by God, as well as the leader of the Seven Archangels. Millions of years ago, Akrasiel fought alongside his allies and mobians against the demon lord Executor in the battle for the planet. After Executor was sealed away, the majority of the angels had been decimated during the war, leaving Akrasiel and the other archangels as the only survivors. The battle lead to the angels distancing themselves from the mobians, likely to not cause any more conflict. It's during this time where Akrasiel began crafting a plan to destroy the world and create a new one, where no evil exists and he rules it.
During the events of the DLC, Akrasiel puts his plans into motion after seeing Executor enslaving the world. He brings two other archangels, Suriel and Ramiel, down to Mobius to help him. Akrasiel frees Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Cream from their demonized states and transports them to another location where he and the two other archangels introduce themselves and explain why they're here. Akrasiel starts to manipulate the Freedom Fighters as he claims he wants to help them defeat Executor and restore their world to the paradise it once was.
One Akrasiel, Tails and Knuckles find Executor and render him unconscious, Akrasiel removes part of X's soul which gives Executor his demonic powers and allows Tails to kill Executor. Unknown to them, Executor is resurrected by Sally, who is still under his control. After he receives news of the deaths of Knuckles, Suriel, Amy and Ramiel, Akrasiel takes it upon himself to use the legendary Uroboros Ring to undo the damage Executor has dealt to Mobius, but is interrupted by him and bestows his power upon Tails. However, Tails proves to be no match against Executor, and Akrasiel finally takes it upon himself to painfully possess Tails' body and attack. He punches through Executor's chest, seemingly killing him as he goes to retrieve the Uroboros Ring.
Akrasiel's plans are stopped by a redeemed Executor, who reveals himself to be alive and well. Akrasiel reveals his plans to unleash Uroboros, a demonic beast created by the demons to destroy worlds, and that he was nearly close to his goal of world destruction before Executor stopped him. Akrasiel prepares to use his soul and X's to unlock the ring and unlesah Uroboros, but is stopped by Executor, who transports him to his pocket dimension. Akrasiel tries to bargain with Executor, revealing his deception and that he will recreate the world with the Trihex, but needs Executor's half to complete it. Once Executor declines the offer Akrasiel fights him, but is unable to defeat Executor.
Mortally wounded and on the brink of death, Akrasiel curses Executor, raging how he was able to be beaten by a mere demon. Executor notes that Akrasiel and X are not too similar, causing Akrasiel to rush at Executor in a fit of blind rage, and being shot by his modified MP7, killing Akrasiel and freeing Tails from his possession.
Personality[]
Akrasiel's introduction gave the impression that he was calm, kind and compassionate, and willing to put himself before others in the face of danger. He presented himself as somebody who's only goal was restore peace and outdo corruption and evil.
His false persona is far from his true self, that of a selfish, arrogant, cold, cunning, manipulative liar who cares little for anyone besides himself. Akrasiel is madly obsessed with power and domination over everything he sees as evil. Despite his actions being noble at first, they divulge into pure selfishness, as he is too egotistical and narcissistic to realize that he himself is the real threat that needs to be stopped.
Akrasiel was extremely intelligent, charismatic, deceptive and manipulative, and used his status as an archangel to present himself as a caring figure to the Freedom Fighters, knowing that they would trust him due to being part of a race known for being peace-bringers and pacifists. He was able to successfully hide behind this guise and showed little empathy or remorse for the damage he was causing and the pain he was inflicting, believing it was the right thing to do.
Akrasiel kept himself calm and collected, but was not immune to bursts of anger, such as when he realized Executor was still alive or his final moments before he death, arrogantly declaring that he was unable to lose to a demon.
However, many of Akrasiel's traits can be deduced to be caused by trauma of seeing most, if not, all of his race (besides from himself, Suriel and Ramiel) perish in the war against the demons, as he furiously declares his hate for Executor and his army for wiping his species off the face of the planet without a shred of guilt.
Akrasiel also seemed to share genuine care for Suriel and Ramiel. However, it is unknown if he truly cared about them or used them as mere pawns in his game. It's likely that Suriel and Ramiel had no idea about Akrasiel's true intentions and went along with them because he was their leader.

“ | Exactly. Uroboros, a beast created by the demons with the power to destroy every world, every star. In fact, strong enough to kill a god. A mission that it accomplished. God himself before disappearing sealed it in a ring. A ring that's almost impossible to break, unless you have the keys to open it. Those keys are my soul and X's. But I have never actually wanted to unlock that power. But now the world is completely ruined, the only thing to do is to destroy it and create a new one from its ashes. And now... I HAVE THE POWER TO DO THAT!!! | „ |

Trivia[]
- Due to the fact that the only other antagonist with a lesser role than Executor is Sally (due to being under his control during the DLC), and that Akrasiel is the only other antagonist with a central role, Akrasiel can be considered to be the series' overall secondary antagonist.
