Alan Yates was the main protagonist of Cannibal Holocaust, where he ultimately met his demise - however he would live on as an evil spirit and haunt many characters across the universe as a General of Hell, where he earned his title as "Director of Mayhem".
Thus began Alan Yates new life as one of the main antagonists of the Terror Toons franchise.
First Death (Pre-Terror Toons)[]
Alan Yates met his demise exactly the same as his Cannibal Holocaust counterpart, upon death his soul began the process of entering Hell, it would take him around six months to do so - during that time he resisted many of the effects damned souls earn during the "waiting period", as such when he finally arrived at Hell he had no remorse, fear or confusion.. indeed he was delighted at the chance to be part of a "new world" and explore its "hidden delights".

- despite the general theme of Terror Toons being about evil spirits being reborn into other dimensions Alan Yates has remained largely apart of our "real" world, as such he is considered one of the more deadly and serious of the many antagonists in the series.
- Alan Yates is officially numbered as 8th of the 13 Generals of Hell, this doesn't seem to count towards his actual power, though he is widely considered one of the most powerful of the Generals.
- Alan Yates has one of the highest kill counts in the entire franchise, further showing his unique and deadly link to the "real" world.
