♫ Crimson red hearts, stone from the start, betcha they're beating now. Hatters and cards, yeah I'll tear them apart, 'cause the fire needs feeding now. Send kind regards, drop the façade, everyone hear my vow! I'll embrace this Wonderland crown! I only paint in red now! Wailing and tears, sweet music I hear, sweat beading on your brow. Now would you deny me my right to reply? You see, I'm not done speaking, so let's see you bow! No way out in sight, so try as I might, I'm giving up, oh... I'll embrace this Wonderland crown! I only paint in red now!
~ Alice going insane.

Alice is a character from the "Disney Princesses but they're Villains" series of songs by British musical artist Lydia the Bard. She is a villainous adaptation of the character from the 1951 animated Disney film Alice in Wonderland, serving as the main protagonist of her song and animatic.

She was voiced by Lydia the Bard.

Biography[]

Alice was a normal girl living in England with her parents and older sister. One day, during an outdoor lesson, she saw a white rabbit in a waistcoat and followed it into a rabbit hole, falling into the strange and magical world of Wonderland, where everyone was odd and chaotic. As Alice explored, she began to feel uneasy, as the chaotic and random nature of the land began to rub off on her. She met several strange inhabitants, such as the Mad Hatter, March Hare, Cheshire Cat, and Queen of Hearts, each more crazy than the last.

The longer Alice spent in Wonderland, the more she began to think mad thoughts and act more and more unhinged like the other denizens of Wonderland, as if the world itself was corrupting and tempting her towards madness and chaos. She searched for a way out, but more and more began to disassociate. By the time she meets the Caterpillar, who asks who she is, she is unable to answer.

At some point, Wonderland's corruption would put Alice under its influence, preparing to spread chaos across the world. While the brainwashed Alice is preparing her killing spree, her own nicer personality as her own self is trapped within her mind lowly but surely, a new, twisted version of Alice emerged as an alternate personality. This "Wonderland Alice" influences Alice to begin an insane spree across Wonderland, using Wonderland's own corruption as a weapon to kill any in her path or transform them into even more chaotic, villainous versions of themselves.

The real Alice still lived deep down, searching for a way out, but Wonderland Alice's influence grew and grew. When Alice thought she found her way out and back to her parents, Wonderland Alice took control, returning Alice to her brainwashed state with the nice Alice now trapped as her reflection and spread Wonderland into reality, transforming Alice's parents as the new, insane Wonderland Alice embraced her new self and took full control as she remembers that her twisted self was truly her and the murders she did was truly her doings. Accepting what she has become, Wonderland Alice spreads Wonderland's corruption to spread chaos across the world while the original personality of the nice Alice was forced to watch in horror since she is no more than a reflection.

Personality[]

Alice is polite and jovial, but becomes corrupted by Wonderland and slowly becomes insane and cruel. This turns into an extreme split personality, with the kind, but confused innocent Alice being lost in despair and trapped within her own mind, as the cackling, evil, wicked Alice takes control, seeking nothing but chaos in any form, including mass murder, destruction, and corruption.
