~ Alina revealing her motives behind her actions to Alexandra, also her last words before her death at the hands of Andrei. |
Alina is the main antagonist of Bonebreaker's Trollge video The 'One Big Family' Incident.
She is the head of a catholic family who hides a dark secret that she refuses to expose to both Andrei and Alexandra. However, this dark secret would be revealed when Andrei reads a book that Alexandra had written, showing that Alina believed in God too much and that she abused and tortured her children, even turning Mikhail on their side after locking him inside the cabin for some time. However, as she was about to kill Andrei, she was killed by the latter with a sniper, putting an end to her child abusing scheme for good.
Appearance[]
Alina is an elderly woman with a "Derp" head, grey hair with a black bow and eyelashes.
Personality[]
Alina is seen to be obsessed with catholic religions and even enforces it in her home, believing in God and telling her daughter Alexandra to pray him often, even if it's too much. Due to this, she is also shown to be abusive to both her and Mikhail as she and her husband tortured and abused them, all under the belief that she wanted a perfect family as she asked God for. And to not let Mikhail kill himself to escape their abuse, she makes him loyal to them so she would continue to abuse her daughter.
Biography[]
Background[]
Alina was born in 1907 from an aggressive alcoholic father and a drug addicted mother (who Alina mentions that they were not good parents due to their attitudes. While it is unknown how her life went on prior to 1955, she married a man named Ivan and the two gave birth to Mikhail in 1948 and Alexandra in 1949. In August 1955, she teached her daughter about God and told her to frequently pray for him (even though she believes that Alina is doing it too much).
However, Alina and Ivan eventually started torturing and abusing her and Mikhail (which is later revealed to be for the purpose of having the "perfect family" as she asked God for) for years, and in 1962, Mikhail, no longer able to sustain any more abuse from his parents, tried to commit suicide by cutting himself. Alina found out about this and dragged him into a nearby cabin, where he was locked for twelve days. This resulted in Mikhail becoming a completely different person to the point Alexandra wouldn't handle staying near him.
In 1970, Alexandra was forced to stay in her mother's home, as one year earlier, in 1969, she had married a man to try getting away from her abusive mother, but he quickly left her pregnant shortly after, leaving Alexandra alone. By then, she would think that her mother would kill her for this.
The 'One Big Family' Incident[]
In May 1975, she saw that her daughter found a former Soviet solider named Andrei laying on the ground due to the cold temperature outside. After she brought him to safety in her room, Andrei opened a book that revealed the truth behind Alina, making him shocked, but just thinks she was just writing some novel.
In the family house, Alina tells Andrei that lunch will be ready in two minutes and that for the time being, she will introduce herself and the rest of the family. After introducing themselves, Andrei informs that he used to be a Soviet solider before he retired for private reasons. When asked what he was doing in the snowy desert, he mentions that it was for private reasons as well, but the family did not react, possibly suspicious.
Eventually, Andrei asks why Alexandra has bruises and a black eye on her face, only for Alina to creepily say that it's "none of his business", which leaves Andrei silent as they go sit around a table for lunch. There, before eating, Alina prays to God to bless their food and drinks. While Alina does her prayer, however, Alexandra hands over a paper to Andrei, where he finds out that Alina and the rest of her family want to kill her and if he wants to be safe, he has to run out of the house, causing him to be shocked as he realizes that the family wasn't as friendly as he thought (which was further explained by the book he found earlier in Alexandra's room).
Andrei then decides to make up an excuse so Alina wouldn't be able to notice him escaping. To do so, he tells Alina that he forgot to wash his hands and asks her where the sink is, which the latter replies that it is located on the first door to his left. Taking this opportunity, he rushes to the sink and notices a window that he can open to escape, but as it was frozen due to the cold outside, he has no choice but to break the window.
Alina was alerted by the noise, however, and sends Ivan and Mikhail to hunt down Andrei so he doesn't escape. Unfortunately for Alina, both Ivan and Mikhail would perish at the hands of Andrei, drowned in the cold water and shot by a sniper rifle he took from Mikhail. Meanwhile, Alexandra tries to call her brother for help, but as Andrei killed him, she had no response. This makes Alina disappointed as she punches her daughter on a wall and tells her that she found out about the note she gave to Andrei, and after calling her a sneaky person for doing so and that she wasted all of the many chances by proving them wrong, she furiously yells that she will send her to the cabin like she did to Mikhail earlier, before kidnapping her and locking her in the cabin.
Shortly after, she hides somewhere within the cabin waiting for Andrei to arrive. Once he manages to break the lock and enter the cabin, she bashes him in the eye with a baseball bat, knocking him out. She then tells Alexandra a secret about her past, how she was raised by bad parents and that all she wanted was to have a "perfect family", which was what she asked God for and that was all she asked Alexandra to do, yet she couldn't make it happen. As she was about to kill Alexandra, however, she is shot in the face by Andrei with his sniper rifle, killing her instantly and putting an end to Alexandra's suffering for good. Alexandra and Andrei then drive away out of the property with a car, as the latter remembers the last verse of the poem he told to the family earlier.
