Alphys is the main antagonist of the Undertale AU Doctor Megalo, which is a re-imagined storyline for the popular Dusttale AU.
After discovering the RESETs, Alphys stuck herself with a device she invented that allowed her to keep her memories when the world reset, allowing her to continue her research even as the human continued to commit genocide. After failing to recruit Sans, and ignoring his advice to just let things happen even Flowey advised her the wise move to do is to leave the human be with their resets and eventually they may stop out of contentment, Alphys refuse to listen and keep pressing on in her research to end the human rampage resulting in she going mad and soon started her own genocide path, killing monsters that the human did not need to kill in order to raise her LV without disrupting the Route.

Alphys, once meek and cowardly, has become a sadistic warmonger who has no issue executing lives like it is nothing. All the room in her heart for compassion is gone, all abandoned as part of her plan to save the Underground. She is very similar to Dusttale Sans in terms of motivation, end goal, and mentality.
She is no longer "afraid" of anything, rather just is annoyed by people who get in her way. She stopped caring about anyone including Mettaton and Undyne

Alphys has given herself some Doctor Octopus inspired arms to assist her in her mission, and she wears a monocle.
