Rebecca Colton (often referred to as Amanda the Adventurer) is a minor protagonist of GameToons, and a major antagonist of her own series by proxy. She stars as the titular host of her TV show, "Amanda The Adventurer", taking the audience and her companion Wooly along on everyday adventures. Despite being an antagonist for part of the series, she has some heroic traits.
Appearance[]
Amanda is an African American young girl, with dark almond black skin, alongside her styled black afro puffs. She wears a yellow shirt and aquamarine shorts with purple socks and yellow sneakers.
Personality[]
(This version of) Amanda is nicer to Wooly and the audience. When controlled by the entity, she will become evil and try to kill Wooly and possibly Riley.
Biography[]
ORIGIN of AMANDA THE ADVENTURER![]
It starts with a victim watching Amanda the Adventurer. Amanda asks the victim to spell home. When they do, Amanda will appear infront of a house vaguely similar to the victim's. Afterwards, she breaks into the victim's home. Revealing they've been possessed by the entity, they presumably kill the victim.
Player spawns in the realm, confused. He's greeted by Amanda and Wooly. Amanda asks Player if he likes apples (to which he replies yes). Wooly adds that he's allergic to apples, but Amanda reassures him that it's "okay" and he should "never be afraid to try something new!". Wooly then says that they don't know where the store is, so Amanda asks Player to help find it (he replies that it's not even 20 feet away). Amanda and Wooly enter the store when chosen, where they find crates of apples and oranges. Amanda asks the viewer if they can say "Apple". Afterward, Amanda compliments Player before saying that they can now make an apple pie, ending the episode.
Player spawns in the second episode, now a bit concerned. Wooly tries to tell Player something (He and Amanda used to be actual pals) before getting interrupted by Amanda's appearance, with the two greeting him again. She tells them that they are getting meat for their Grandma, even though Wooly remarks that she's a vegetarian. Amanda asks where the butcher is. Player is confused and tries to get more information, but Amanda shoots Wooly an evil look, preventing him.
Entering the Butcher's shop, Amanda greets the "meat man" and asks the viewer to tell him what they need. If the viewer refuses, Amanda gets irritated and forces them to say "meat".
While the meat man is cutting a chunk of meat, Amanda stops smiling and turns her head towards Wooly, frightening him, and the episode ends there.
In the third episode, Amanda and Wooly are searching for treasure via a treasure map. They enter the woods, with Amanda asking Wooly if he is excited, repeating it (in a deeper tone) due to him being inattentive. Amanda asks the viewer to show them where "X marks the spot". Upon finding it, Amanda explains that she brought three tools: A crowbar, a rope, and a shovel. After explaining that they already used the crowbar for a door, and the rope for an unknown use, she will then point to the shovel. Just as they're about to dig up the treasure, Wooly snaps and says that he's had enough, and breaks the fourth wall by grabbing the camera and telling the viewer to burn the tapes. While this is happening, Amanda levitates, progressively getting angrier as Wooly goes on. The tape cuts to static, with Amanda presumably killing Wooly offscreen.
The next episode starts with Amanda, alone, in front of a house and a swing set, saying "It's dark out. Let's go home," but Player instead confronts her for what she did to Wooly, seeing a bloody pile of wool at her feet. After that, an image of Player's house appears. He tries to stop the tape, but the Entity takes him.
AMANDA the ADVENTURER is NOT EVIL?![]
Wooly wakes up at the operating table, confused. Amanda claims that she will not hurt him. Amanda claims that Wooly's head is broken and she needs to operate, and Wooly remarks that they both know she hasn't gone to medical school. Amanda asks Riley what they should use to "fix" Wooly's head. As this goes on, Wooly thinks to himself that this isn't her, and the first time he saw her acting like this was in the kitchen.
In the Flashback, Amanda states again that Wooly should never be afraid to try new things and that he can grow out of it, but Wooly claims that it's different. Amanda then approaches Wooly with a knife, stating that "she's a pirate", and that it's fun to play Make Believe. Amanda asks what they do with a knife, to which Wooly quickly answers that they make a pie. Amanda drops the knife, saying Wooly's right. The pie is magically done, and Wooly (is forced to) taste-tests it. He quickly swells up, and he starts choking, Amanda says to Riley that they shouldn't give into peer pressure. In his mind, he wondered why Amanda was hurting him.
Before the next episode begins, Wooly goes to inform the player to not do something, but Amanda appears glaring angrily at an injured Wooly. Amanda claims Wooly tripped while playing and cuts him off when he says he did not. Then she asks you who can help Wooly, if you do not listen, she sighs, and if you do it again, she will lose her patience and temper and berate the player. She will take him to the hospital. Later, she will try and help Wooly herself. Wooly declines, but Amanda shoves the liquid down his throat and he passes out.
Skip to the present, Amanda cuts the rope instead of him, saying that they don't have much time before "the Entity" takes over, claiming that it can take over her. What she does and says. In Amanda's subconscious, the Entity slams her against the wall, taking over themself. The Entity breaks the control panel, which was the main cause Amanda was hurting Wooly in the first place. Amanda (in her subconscious) confronts the Entity for leading her to hurt Wooly unintenionally. The two then engage in a battle over control of herself. Afterwards, Wooly apologizes for not knowing that it wasn't her fault this whole time. Amanda gets controlled again, but this time, the Entity escapes the real world. In a moment of desperation, Wooly grabs a nearby axe and strikes the Entity with it, killing them. Amanda thanks Wooly for saving her, and the two hug. Just as things were okay, The Entity reveals to be still alive and then it attacks them right before the episode ends, leaving Amanda and Wolly's fates unknown as they presumed to be still alive or not.
