Lee Geon-hui (이건희), better known as Shin Tae-Il (신태일) or the Angry Korean Gamer is one of the two deuteragonists (alongside BJLoanShark) of the Insane Korean People series made by Muraryuen, formerly known as ProGaben, serving as a supporting character in Part 1 and the main protagonist of Parts 4, 5 and 7.
He is an AfreecaTV streamer originating from South Korea, where he plays games and whenever he loses, he becomes angered a lot whenever he loses or his computer crashes, to the point where he punches or smashes his monitor. He also collaborates with ChulGu at times as seen in Parts 4 and 5. He is based off of the streamer of the same name.
Personality[]
Since he is featured in the compilation recurringly due to the nature of his videos, Tae-Il is known for his anger issues, outbursts and destructive tendencies. While playing a game, he punches his monitor or smashes his keyboard most of the time just for losing at a game like LoL and KartRider. When playing with a partner, he is never shown to respect any of them and whenever they win, he refuses to accept defeat and just rage hopelessly, examples are when he is playing a shooter game with an online player and playing LoL with ChulGu.
His relationship with his dog is not really a good relationship, as he is easily willing to abuse his dog if his dog doesn't respond or calls names at him.
When he goes in public, he disturbs people a lot, which makes him obnoxious and a flat-out maniac as well and he is also treated as a complete joke to the public.
Biography[]
Insane Korean People Part 1[]
Tae-Il is first seen playing LoL where he easily dies by an opponent and as a result, bangs his table and smashes his keyboard four times before ranting about how he lost so easily. Next off, he plays a shooter game where he cannot shoot one bullet at his opponent and meanwhile, two grenades are thrown towards him, which his player gets killed by the second grenade, causing him to punch his monitor in a fit of rage.
Part 4[]
Tae-Il and ChulGu collaborate together to play LoL. However, in the first round, both of them end up in a tie, which causes Tae-Il to angrily sigh. In the second round, Tae-Il easily loses the game while ChulGu survives. Enraged, Tae-Il gets up from his chair, goes to ChulGu's room and kicks him, causing both of them to be knocked over. It is also mentioned that he abused the door to his room.
Tae-Il then plays KartRider where he is about to win, only for the computer to crash before he could win the race. Angered, he gets his keyboard and smashes his monitor 4 times, which causes his monitor to fall to the ground. He then lets out a couple of tantrums before quickly calming down. He then plays another race of KartRider where he is about to win, only for him to get stuck on a roof of a building (which could be a glitch), leading him to shout things. He then gets stuck with other players and a wall briefly and after, he proceeds to go. However, the race's time runs out at the last second, leading Tae-Il to smash himself with the keyboard.
Next off, he plays a shooting game and sees a woman in-game and attempts to flirt with her, only for him to get shot by his enemy. As a result, Tae-Il punches his monitor. He then plays another game, following ahead of a nurse, which dies 5 seconds into the round. While he seems to get disgusted by looking at her panties, Tae-Il then flirts with a corpse, only to get shot by an enemy, which causes him to angrily mash the keyboard extremely hard.
Tae-Il then plays the same game (possibly) by trying to shoot at an enemy, only to get himself killed. As a result, he breathes angrily. Next off, Tae-Il checks if the coast is clear in an area. When he thinks the area is seemingly clear, he goes up the ladder, only for him to get killed by the enemy. He then plants a C4 on top of a barrel and as the time ticks, the Korean Gamer looks up and down constantly and later gets shot by his enemy, causing him to punch his monitor in a fit of rage.
Part 5[]
Tae-Il and ChulGu collaborate again where he taunts ChulGu losing at a game, causing him to smash his computer by punching it. The Korean Gamer then goes into silence and ChulGu tells him to look at him closely. ChulGu then puts his cigarette in the Korean Gamer's and kicks him out of his room.
Later on, he and ChulGu go on a laughing spree in public. The two then do challenges in 10 seconds, with the Korean Gamer participating in the game, "10 Seconds to get KO'ed". He is the one that makes ChulGu get KO'ed. When ChulGu goes unconscious, the Korean Gamer gets out a keyboard and smashes it on his head a few times.
He then goes on a second laughing/screaming/crying spree, annoying more people in the process. The video ends with the Korean Gamer dancing in a subway station, with only 1 or 2 people cheering at him, instead of a hundred. He then goes to commit suicide as a result of depression.
Part 7 (1/2)[]
Tae-Il gets out of his apartment and goes on a Hello Kitty bike, going around the streets riding it. He then arrives at a football field, where he interrupts a game by snatching the ball at a player and throwing it somewhere, causing the player to think he sucks at the game.
The Korean Gamer then introduces himself and wonders if he will cheer up his "dog" (later turns out to be a fan), who has a bad mood. The Korean Gamer calls out for his dog, only for the dog to bark at him constantly, causing Tae-Il to send threats to his dog such as deleting his Roblox account and banning him from watching disgusting toy channels on YouTube. The dog then turns out to be an electric fan, who calls him names to mock him, causing Tae-Il to get enraged and punching his pet electric fan. He then warns the fan that bullying can get him into trouble and kicks his pet out of his room.
Next off, he finds a strange apple and decides to eat it, only for fire to burst out of his arms. He then plays with fire for a bit, only for it to calm down with snow. After a few minutes, the Korean Gamer shows the audience his power and summons a fire ring around him, causing him to whack the fire out with his scarf.
Finally, he goes into a burger restaurant to pick up his burger and goes out of the restaurant, shouting out random words, laughing and skipping all the way to his apartment. However, he trips on something, causing the burger to drop to the ground. The Korean Gamer seemingly mourns for his burger being ruined but it turns out he eats it. After eating some and satisfied with the taste, he keeps skipping on his way home. The video ends with the Korean Gamer harassing more people with a bicycle bell and a VR set.

Trivia[]
- How ChulGu and the Angry Korean Gamer collaborated was through a series of YouTube videos titled ChulGu and Shin Tae-Il in the latter's now-banned channel. The series ran from late 2014 to early 2015, where it involved the two doing crazy things.
- The Angry Korean Gamer is a nickname used in the West, while in Korea, they refer to him as Shin Tae-Il.
- The burger restaurant the Gamer goes to in Part 7 is Bongousse Rice Burger, a food chain in South Korea that sells rice burgers, hence the name.
- Shin Tae-Il/Angry Korean Gamer has a pet dog in real-life called Konggi, who is a Pomeranian.
