Biography[]
This version of Anna's story begins similarly to how it did in the original Disney version: Anna was born as a princess to the kingdom of Arendelle. Anna's older sister Elsa had cryokenetic abilities, a byproduct of her mother's Northuldra heritage. Anna and Elsa spent a lot of time together as children until an accident caused Elsa to hurt Anna with her ice. Anna was taken to magical trolls, who helped her but instructed the king and queen to keep Elsa' ice powers a secret from Anna from that point on.
They agreed, but also kept the two sisters apart for the rest of their childhoods, with Elsa becoming cold towards Anna and constantly refusing her attempts to go and play. When the two were adults, the king and queen died while at sea, leading to Elsa being coronated as the new queen. Anna and Elsa briefly reconnected, but when Anna met a handsome prince named Hans at the coronation and asked for Elsa's blessing to be wed, Elsa refused due to how short of time the two had known each other. In a fit of anger, Anna accidentally makes Elsa defend herself with her ice magic, leading to her accidentally freezing the kingdom and fleeing.
Anna attempts to go help Elsa, teaming up with the mountain man Kristoff to track her to a place of ice in the mountains. She tries to reason with Elsa and have her reforge their connection, but Elsa refuses and accidentally shoots ice magic into Anna's heart. Kristoff brings the injured Anna to the trolls, but they are unable to help her. He returns her to her kingdom, but a change begins to occur in Anna's heart.
Hans, who in actuality was plotting to overthrow Elsa and become king with Anna as his queen, goes to find Elsa, capturing her and bringing her back to the kingdom. Elsa manages to escape while Hans goes to seduce Anna.
However, the ice in Anna's heart begins to spread. Her heart literally becomes colder as she begins to reflect on how Elsa always pushed her away. With aid from her newly frozen heart, she develops a more sinister outlook on life, losing faith in humanity for always being the victim. She becomes more cruel and calculating, turning Kristoff away. When Hans' evil plot is revealed, Anna reveals that she figured it out, and realizes she is no longer the naïve and ditzy girl she once was, but rather a vengeful and angry person.
Hans attempts to murder her, but Anna surprises herself when she suddenly develops cryokenetic abilities of her own, freezing Hans alive. Knowing she now had the power to confront her sister, she began making her way through the castle swearing revenge. Kristoff tries to stop her, but she freezes him as well. She makes her way outside the castle, celebrating her new abilities and sinister nature by casually freezing and killing the people around her and strengthening the endless winter Elsa accidentally created.
She tracks down Elsa and chastises her for braking her self-worth, forcing her to bow. Anna mocks Elsa, but as she looks upon her helpless sister, her sadistic glee turns to vengeful anger. As she grows angrier and angrier reminiscing on their childhood and how many chances she gave Elsa, her coldness grows. She skin turns pale and covered in frozen fractals, her nails grow into claws, and her hair turns completely snow white.
Elsa stands up to battle Anna, and the two face each other with their ice powers. Anna emerges victorious, striking with a blast of ice so cold it freezes and kills Elsa. Anna turns and walks away, though wearing a frown.
Personality[]
This version of Anna started off compassionate, but naïve and ditzy. Though she felt hurt by Elsa always pushing her away despite her attempts to reconcile, she always tried to reforge their relationship.
However, after her heart is frozen, she becomes bitter and vengeful. She begins only seeing the bad in people, believing them to only be either against her like Elsa and Hans, or in her way. She becomes sadistic in the misuse of her abilities, but harbors deep anger and hatred towards Elsa in particular.
