Anna Grace is a minor antagonist in Danganronpa: Case Despair. She is the sexually abusive older sister of Arnie Grace, the Ultimate Youngling, and wants him all to herself.
Early Life[]
During Arnie's childhood, Anna was secretly in love with him and would take advantage of his innocence to force him to call her Onee-Chan. One day when he called her by her real name, she got angry and started hurting him until he calls her Onee-Chan. She claims to be sorry but also claimed that she did it out of love and just wanted him to be a good boy. She forbade any girl from ever going near him and thinks that he can only rely on her.
When Arnie was cheated on by rude girl, it's later revealed that Anna paid the rude girl to pretend to date Arnie and then break his heart so he can trust her and no one else, making her responsible for causing Arnie to take pills that changed his emotions until he got a child-like personality thanks to his autism. Despite being glad that he's alive, she's only happy that she can still keep close to her instead of caring about health.
However, their mother was starting to notice something wrong with Anna and secretly hired John Bishop to install cameras in the house and they watched in horror as Anna is inappropriately touching Arnie and forcing him to call her Onee-Chan. When he refused, she angrily slaps him and demands it again, causing him to tearfully call her that. Disgusted by what they saw, they tell the father about this and agree to turn her in.
One day, Anna was preparing to spend time with Arnie but then sees her father with asylum staff. Realizing that her actions are revealed, she angrily protests and claims that Arnie belongs to her. They start restraining her as she struggles and demands to be let go. After being put in a straightjacket and restrained to an asylum bed, she sees Arnie and pleads to him to please help her until they put a muzzle on her to keep her silent. She is then last seen mumbling and struggling as they put her in the transport van but still sees Arnie one last time and giving him a pleading look only to be shocked when he looks away from her in fear and muffles a horrified no at losing control over him. The doors are then closed on her and she is driven away.
In the asylum, she is still obsessed with Arnie and writes letters to him. She even makes a teddy bear version of him and sleeps with it, still vowing to make him belong to her and get revenge for being exposed.
Personality[]
At first, she is seen as a precious person in Arnie's life and someone who raised him but this is later revealed to be a facade and she is actually an abusive, manipulative, sadistic, and selfish pedophile who sexually abused Arnie and wanted him all to herself. She didn't even care for his life when he took pills that changed his emotions and was more worried about losing the chance to have him, which shows that she only sees him as her property and gets upset when she loses what she sees as belonging to her. Whenever he doesn't call her Onee-Chan, she would angrily abuse him and force him to call her that while only be punishing him out of love when she really doesn't love him but is instead obsessed with him. When her actions were exposed, she had no remorse for them and refuses to stop her obsession.
