I’m surprised it took you that long to find out. But you can’t stop me. I am the one who made the Time Corps the organization you see now.
~ Anthony Smith before his attempted arrest.

Anthony Smith is a major antagonist within the Shadowverse book series.

He serves as a secret antagonist in Arc 2 and the main antagonist of Arc 3. Smith was the corrupt founder of the Time Corps selling weapons to terrorist organizations. After being exposed by his assistant commander John Zest, Smith was later killed by him during a showdown and sent to the hellish place known as Earth-6. After being revived, Smith possessed the body of Admiral Deathmantle and took control of Cyclone Dawn, Scorpia, and the remnants of the Time Corps before being killed by Zest again.

Biography[]

First Death[]

Anthony Smith created and founded the Time Corps with his partner John Zest, however the real purpose of the Time Corps was to create powerful pieces of technology that Smith could sell to terrorist organizations to gain a profit. While doing so, he was about to be exposed by two other Time Corps agents, but he killed them before they could do so. He was caught and exposed by Zest, but Smith escaped and ran off to a building, but Zest followed him and pushed him in a vat of water, and Smith drowned.

Building The Time Order[]

Trapped on the hellish Earth-6, Smith killed Agent 9 when the latter arrived to gain life force so he could escape from the that universe. But, Perceverous allowed him to escape, and Smith possessed the body of Admiral Deathmantle, taking control of the remaining terrorist organizations. Building a new mega organization called The Time Order, he sought to avenge his death and kill Zest.

When he was confronted by Agent ZERO, Smith stabbed her, nearly killing her via poison dagger, but Zest confronted Smith, shooting him and throwing him out of the building.

Final Death[]

Transported to the Realm of the Forgotten, he was confronted by Perceverous, who angrily told him he was supposed to kill Agent ZERO with the dagger and he was no longer useful. Smith pleaded, but was killed and sent to the Realm of the Forgotten, ending him for good.

Personality[]

Smith was a dangerous, corrupt man who was very vengeful against Zest, not caring who he had to take out to get to him. Smith also appeared to be mentally unhinged, as shown when he has multiple breakdowns. He is also cowardly as he is seen cowering in front of Perceverous.

Trivia[]

  • Smith was the first major secret villain within the Shadowverse.
