The Anti-Christ, also known as The Lord in his disguise, is one of the two main antagonists (alongside Vox) in the first season of adult horror/comedy fan fiction remake series Hazbin World.

He is a clone of the heroic Jesus Christ, co-creator and overseer of religion, the current leader of The Crusaders and one of Heaven's superiors, ranked underneath God, Sera and Emily and the real Jesus Christ. He is also the one behind a massive plot to destroy Hell and rebuild it under Heaven's leadership, even if it means killing ones who have a chance for redemption. He is also Adam's ally and superior, and is Molly's arch-nemesis as well as one of the two archenemies (alongside Vox) of Loona, Charlie and Velvette.

History[]

The Anti-Christ is a clone of Jesus Christ who was built to protect Hell and Heaven alltogether. He disguised himself as Jesus himself to become the leader of The Crusaders, a faction which is meant to protect Heaven from any threat. The Anti-Christ firstly disguised himself as The Lord in order to retrieve her powers of both Heaven and Hell so he could be stronger than anyone from Hell. He sees Mammon walking with two hellhound bodyguards. Mammon orders the hellhounds to kill The Lord. However, Jesus overpowers them and kills them both, leaving Mammon by himself. Mammon then runs off, as The Anti-Christ promises to take care of him and all of Hell soon.

Disguised as Jesus, he then appears in Heaven, greeting Loona and Molly and showing them the way to his mansion. He pretends to agree to Loona's request of turning them human again and defeating Satan. However, he is later revealed to be a warlord much worse than Satan, plotting to destroy Hell and rebuild it as Heaven, whilst humanity destroys itself. The faked Jesus comes back to Hell, disguised again, and he asks Loona to talk to Molly. Loona at first refuses and protects her sister, but thinking that Jesus might be good for Hell, she lets them talk. Molly comes, and the fake Jesus surprisingly grabs Molly and takes her to Heaven. Jesus is asked by Sera to stop the madness. Jesus then reminds her that his plans are because he wants Hell to be destroyed and rebuilt, even if he has to kill innocent demons with ability to redeem themselves. He also sent a spy to Hell, and it is still unknown who it is, but Fizzarolli is a suspect for that as Mammon has stated. After revealing his plans and being scolded by Sera, he orders Adam to take both Sera and Molly to the prison chambers, until the ceremony in which he shall take Molly's powers for himself shall begin.

In the following episode, he is revealed to be the one who created Satan as his faked hologram, to brainwash all demons into war against angels. It is revealed that his spy from Hell was really Fizzarolli, and he revealed that all this time, he was a clone of Jesus. Then, the real Jesus came and reminded him that his job was to look after Hell. The two come into further conflict, and they both promise to finish each other in spite of one another.

The Anti-Christ had Adam throw Sera and Molly into the dark pit, where the machine was going to turn them into angel dust forever. However, Loona and Verosika Mayday opened a portal and brought Molly and Sera back to Hell with them. The Anti-Christ scolded at his right-hand man Angelico Capone for failing to destroy them. He was then called in by a furious Jesus Christ, who promised that he shall end the Anti-Christ's reign of terror. Vox however sends his weapon to destroy Heaven, and Jesus dies in the exploding Heaven realm. The Anti-Christ lies to The Crusaders that Jesus was killed by ALL DEMONS, and he ordered them to prepare themselves for a massive attack on Hell, while he intends to eradicate all demons, including good or redeeming ones.

Personality[]

Jesus Christ is presented as a good, honest father. However, as he is revealed to be The Lord, and plot such terrible things against Hell's civilians, he is revealed to be much worse than any demon, including Satan, Lucifer and Vox.

He seems to hate demons very much for being sinners, but it doesn't justify his actions. He is also willing to hurt any angel who disagrees with him, like Sera. Later, it's revealed that his Jesus persona was only a facade, as he is actually a clone of Christ. He also faked Satan as a hologram, just to cause a war on both sides.

Trivia[]

  • He is based on Adam from the original show. However, here, he is Adam's boss.
  • The Anti-Christ is so far the only major antagonist from Heaven.
  • He is the conspirator who instigated every evil happening in the story. Despite demons being evil, not ALL of them should be destroyed.
    • This is further explained when he is revealed to be a big fan of the idea of wars, being Jesus' evil clone filled with hatred and anti feelings towards his creator and master, the real Jesus.
  • Originally, Jesus was going to be one character and the main villain of the show. However, to prevent controversy and give a more interesting plot twist, the creator decided that he shall be a clone of Jesus Christ called the Anti-Christ.
