Anxiety is the main antagonist of the animated web series Object Towel Again.
He is a manifestation of negativity, hate, despair, and as his namesake indicates, anxiety. Disgusted by existence, He makes it his goal to wipe out all life in universe, going after Object Shows first as he has a hatred for them in particular. After wiping out and cancelling a few shows, he recruits their hosts to aid him and seeks out a powerful skull that is in possession of Glass Case Holder in order to end the world and universe itself.
He is voiced by series creator Leandro Stoner (better online as Leo Friends).
Appearance[]
Anxiety is a stick figure. He has a resemblance to Leo (The in-universe avatar of Leo Friends and is also the channel mascot). His torso and limbs are jet black, while his head is a light gray color. A few holes are also scattered across his head and he has a thin black line on top. His eyes are simple, being completely black. He also has a set of white teeth.
Personality[]
Anxiety is portrayed to be an embodiment of everything bad within the world. He seeks to destroy everything in his path because he is disgusted by existence and actively wants to take away the lives of everyone in the universe via his cancellation powers. He also seemingly embraces such concept as he has been called many names in the past but ultimately prefers to be called by Anxiety.
In person, Anxiety is shown to be very hostile towards others, especially if they try to get in his way. He frequently insults others for their flaws. He also holds prejudice towards characters specifically from Object Shows, as he has developed a hatred for them. He doesn't seem to care about forming bonds with other people either and views his allies as just a way to help him get to his objectives, showing no remorse for them and even going out of his way to kill them if they go against him. He is almost always in a negative mood, only smiling when others are suffering.

Anxiety and eleven other contestants consisting of different versions of Leo are brought into the show after being drawn Sonic to compete in his show. Anxiety is reluctant at first, but eventually decides to join anyways after he is told that he can win a prize, that being a number for a random heart.
The first challenge is to impress Sonic. Anxiety uses his cancellation powers on Leo Head, making him the second contestant safe. At the stinger of the episode, he has a conversation with Fancy Leo and why they are even competing. The two talk about their own past, remarking Anxiety trying to destroy the world and Fancy Leo hosting an OTA speedrun show. Anxiety also states that he can't seem to remember his own past, getting some suspicions on what is going on around him.
In the second episode of the series "This sure is the second episode", Anxiety eavesdrops on a conversation between Sonic and his friend Tails, listening to them talk about bringing one of their friends back. Later in the second challenge, the contestants have to draw something, their score and safety dependent on the quality of the drawing. Anxiety makes a painting of Sonic, which surprises him, making him place first in the competition.
It's unknown what happens to Anxiety after the second episode of the series, as it has been cancelled after the second episode. Anxiety overall performed the best out of the contestants in the show, placing 2nd and first respectively.

Trivia[]
- Anxiety's character and his cancelation related abilities are seemingly referencing how many Object Shows are often cancelled before reaching proper conclusions, mostly stemming from real-world issues.
- Ironically, L.E.O. ended up being cancelled, a show that Anxiety takes part in as a contestant. Coincidentally, he also places first in the drawing competition in second and currently last episode of the series and is overall the best performing contestant overall.
- Anxiety can be faintly seen on Leo Friends' profile picture, possibly being foreshadowing to "The Finale?" and "The True Finale".
- Anxiety apparently likes mushrooms on their pizza.
