Aoi Asahina is a supporting antagonist of VAVillain's Danganronpa Wheel, acting as the main antagonist of chapter 1.

She is the Ultimate Swimming Pro and one of the students forced into the killing game. After almost being killed by Sayaka, she winds up killing her instead, although she winds up being exposed by Mukuro Ikusaba and executed for her crime.

Biography[]

Backstory[]

Like her original, Aoi grew up with her parents and her younger brother. She eventually grew to become famous for her swimming abilities.

One day, she received an invitation to Hope's Peak Academy as an Ultimate and later became involved in the Tragedy. While she survived, Genocide Jack abducted her and the other Ultimates to be part of a killing game, as well as erasing her memory.

Chapter One[]

After the explanation from Monokuma, the class collaborates and tries to work out ways to avoid killing each other. Monokuma, not pleased with this, gives each of them "Motive" videos. Aoi's shows her younger brother being abducted.

Sayaka, worried about her bandmates, meets up with Aoi at night to talk about it, but winds up becoming increasingly violent due to the stress and the two wind up getting into an argument. Realizing that this is the perfect chance to kill someone, Aoi sneaks into the kitchen and grabs a knife to stab Sayaka in the hallway. The class then goes to trial over the murder and Mukuro deduces Aoi's involvement due to her alibi not adding up and numbers written by Sayaka which reads "AOI" upside-down. Aoi attempts to explain herself, but she is pronounced guilty and is sentenced by Monokuma to be forced to swim in a vat with a hurt leg, causing her to drown.
