Apollyon is an antagonist created by Rblxtrex, and solely owned by the latter. An entity lurking inside a ROM hack for Sonic 3, he and his cohorts, Azazel and Zaphikel. hunt down the characters within the disc for their own personal goals.
Personality[]
While not much is known about Apollyon, it is inferred that he is sadistic and cruel. Who he is and why he does the things he does is unclear, but it's made clear that targeting Sonic and co. is his main priority at the moment.
Apollyon believes that God is dead, though whether it be through his meddling or not is unclear as well.

Apollyon is a demonic entity who resides in a Sonic 3 & Knuckles ROM hack and hunts down all Sonic characters with his allies Azazel and Zaphkiel. One day a person decided to do a challenge called XAEROTH’s Game witch is a type of ritual to make the game cursed. After doing some rules the game booted itself up, at first the game looked normal until the person saw Apollyon and starting Apollyon Act 1. At this point the game behaved weirdly and Apollyon whould always try to hunt Sonic down. After beating his 2 acts, the player was greated with new acts for Azazel and Zaphkiel, he had outruned the fox and fought against the echidna. After that Apollyon whould then ask him if will live or die if he beats his final act and with no hesitation, the player accepted his challange for his survival. It was a painfull challange between him and his brothers and after beating them all, Apollyon appears on screen with his distorted face in the backround, congratulating him for surviving his game and that they will meet again.
Appearance[]
Apollyon, in his base form, is an anthropomorphic hedgehog with demonic features, which is primarily due to using Sonic's body as a vessel. Apollyon's face is starting to rot away around the front, leaving exposed muscle. Black horns are in the place of Sonic's ears, and due to rotting internally, an open wound on his chest has his guts hanging out. A two-barred upside-down cross is etched onto his forehead.
Though he can hide as Sonic, his disguise tends to have a few flaws. His chest is scarred, his eyes tend to flicker from either having a red outline or straight up being black, and a black casing starts to surround his ears.

- Apollyon was originally conceived as an alternate take on Satanos due to the latter's removal from the Friday Night Funkin' mod "Vs. Sonic.Exe". Afterwards, he has since become his own entity.
- Apollyon was named after the angel/place of the same name, described as the angel of the void.
- Apollyon has underwent a few rewrites overtime, with none of them being canon to his story anymore.
- At first, Apollyon was simply the Anti-Christ who considered himself to be a prophet.
- A later rewrite had Apollyon be an unnamed man who tried to find the truth about the world's religions. Growing more and more frustrated at the lack of an answer, the man became a serial killer working as an agent for "the greater good", before committing suicide.
