The Apostles of the New World are the main antagonists of the All Worlds Alliance fanfic series.
It is a mysterious vilainous organisation that serves as the primary arch-nemesis of the All Worlds Alliance. The Apostles comprises of various villains from across the multiverse.
Despite being the greater threat, however, their actual goals remain unknown other than to cause chaos. Chikage Tachibana serves as its leader. However, it is later revealed that Chikage himself is an acting leader, as he's still working under the orders of his unseen superiors.
As the series goes on, however, it is revealed that one of their goals is to capture the 12 first-generation Zero Goddesses and its hosts (except Sadness) to weaponise them for their goals, putting them in a conflict between themselves and the AWA.
Background[]
Prologue[]
While they were not directly mentioned (save for the appearances of Titans, lizards, IS Golems, etc.), it is revealed that the Apostles were behind the armies of summoned minions that were sent there. Incidentally, due to this, their actions spurred the creation of the All Worlds Alliance.
All Worlds Alliance Missions - Tales of the World[]
The Apostles, or rather their summoned monsters (at first), make their first appearance in the series after Kannono Grassvalley firstly encountered a group of Terraformars hidden within the alleyways of Amegakure. It is revealed later on, however, that Damascus, one of the Apostles members, was behind the countless monster attacks across the worlds Kannono visited including her homeworld of Randgriz, in his goal to take the World Tree's power to obtain the Knight position for himself.
After the AWA foiled his efforts, on the courtesy of being defeated by Kannono's Excellion Drive form, Damascus was arrested by the Plumbers. His arrest, however, would play a role in his turn to the good side, as well as giving the AWA information about the Apostles' operations, thus starting the AWA's war against them.
