Arboria, formerly known as the Empire of Steel, is a supporting antagonistic faction in the Minecraft social experiment web series ish's State, serving as a major antagonistic faction in Season 1 and a posthumous antagonistic faction of Seasons 1.7 and 2.
It is the ruling political body of the Jungle State created and governed by 9209 in the first season of The State Experiment. Originally a heroic civilization that defended their land against the wrath of the Jungle Terrorists lead by one of their former members, the empire would fall to corruption after forging an alliance with Solev and becoming entangled within his malevolent schemes.
History[]
Season 1[]

On Day 1, citizens of the Jungle State who joined what would become Arboria settled on the massive volcano situated in the middle of the island. With the abundance of wood and stone at the helm, citizens were able to quickly advance their civilization and swiftly established a communist system. At this point, 9209's faction was named "the Empire of Steel".
On Day 2, the citizens of the Jungle State opted to hold a democratic election to determine who would become the ruler of the island. The two main candidates were 9209 and ItsMagicMikey. 9209's pitch was creating a government of checks and balances and citizens' rights, whereas Mikey's was establishing himself as a dictator who carried out executions of those who threatened his power. Unsurprisingly, 9209 won the election and was crowned the ruler of the Jungle State, infuriating Mikey into leaving to start his own civilization on the far side of the island with a small group of followers.
On Day 3, the cold war between 9209 and Mikey's factions was growing and tensions would only continue to grow after Mikey killed the chickens of a passing-by Empire of Steel member and then ordered the killing of another. Shortly afterwards, Mikey declared war on the Empire of Steel.

On Day 4, the Empire of Steel, under 9209's orders, geared up and planned to kill every last one of the Jungle Terrorists, scouring the perimeters of the volcano to locate Mikey's crew. Eventually, the Jungle Terrorists reached the volcano and launched their attack Fortunately for the Empire of Steel, the first hits of the battle alerted them to where Mikey and his crew were coming from and so enabled them to launch their attack against him. As the Empire of Steel fought back against the now-fleeing Jungle Terrorists, Mikey got into a fight with an Empire of Steel citizen and jumped off the volcano, dying on the ground after failing to perform a water bucket clutch and ending the Jungle Civil War, with the Empire of Steel coming out on top after the remaining Jungle Terrorists surrendered.

On Day 7, after prolonged discussion amongst their ranks, the Empire of Steel decided to pack up their stuff and leave the volcano, deciding to locate their new settlement on the edge of the island where a player named LegacyAN was, creating a thriving new civilization. While not explicitly confirmed, it's likely the Empire of Steel changed their name and rebranded as Arboria after creating their new settlement at Legacy's home.

On Day 8, Arboria continued developments on their new settlement by creating various inventions, such as a lag machine. Unbeknownst to the rest of the world, Arboria was constructing a massive stone tower they dubbed "the Wooden Fence". Meanwhile, on the Snow State, the island's geopolitical expert, Kumazaki, reached out to 9209 and Arboria with a proposition: Viewing the ruler of the Snow State, Solev, as a tyrant, Kumazaki suggested they ally with the other major factions of the other islands and achieve world peace by either pressuring Solev to resign or killing him. However, 9209 refused, as Arboria already had a secret alliance with Solev, an alliance which thwarted Kumazaki's plans as Arboria tipped off his plan to Solev, who then had him executed.
On Day 10, Arboria continued to build their community and engage in fishing activities, keeping themselves away from the international conflict brewing on the other islands. Legacy briefly engaged in conflict by killing a traitor to Arboria, but otherwise hoped he could simply live in retirement.

On Day 11, the Great World War was initiated after the United Sands declared war on the Solev Union. The United Sands stormed the Snow State, destroyed its government and left Solev fleeing for his life. Upon getting word of the events occurring on the Snow State, 9209 ordered a full lockdown of the Jungle State and ordered his citizens to welcome Solev as a refugee. Sure enough, Solev would arrive and be escorted by Legacy up the Wooden Fence, which was to serve as a defensive tower in the coming battle. Eventually, the United Sands tracked down Solev and reached the Jungle State. Despite being hesitant to climb the Wooden Fence, their spirits were undeterred as they began scaling the tower.

Initially, it appeared that Arboria was coming out victorious as they continuously rained arrows on the United Sands players scaling the tower with blocks, resulting in several deaths as a result. However, the United Sands then changed their strategy, utilizing bone meal to grow jungle trees and climb up the tower that way, allowing them to gain the upper hand as they dropped down into the tower and began fighting Arboria, beginning the Battle of the Wooden Fence. With the influx of United Sands players reaching the top through the jungle trees and dropping into the tower, many members of Arboria were slain, including 9209, until eventually Solev was the only target left, ending with his death after attempting to escape and marking the end of the Great World War.

In the aftermath of the Great World War, the remaining citizens of the Jungle State who were part of the now-dissolved Arboria escaped the battle and fled into the jungle. Accompanied by the leftover snow citizens from the Solev Union who fought alongside them, the remaining players would retreat into the depths of the jungle and create new settlements where they could finally live in peace and properly mourn their fallen comrades who perished in the battle. Next to the enclosure where the remaining citizens set up residence, Legacy had rebuilt his home after escaping the battle with his parrot, finally able to live in retirement.
Season 1.7[]
Arboria had a cameo appearance in The Prison Experiment as one of the major factions outlined on a map made by MagicGum, who was looking to replicate The State Experiment for a game he was creating where the leftover prisoners would be divided into four teams and forced to fight to the death
