Armless is the secondary antagonist in the Unsolved Half Life 2 ARG foundonthetape.
Appearance[]
Armless appears to be a Pale Humanoid-Like Entity that haves no arms, thin black hair, two huge eye sockets, and a mouth that haves blood pouring from it. It's torso is darkened with blood that runs all around its body, which is also all the way in-between it's legs. There is also black spots on it's ankles. Armless wasn't given a Gender yet so it's gender is Unknown.
Behavior[]
Armless only appears in the fourth map of the Half Life 2 maps foundonthetape_4.bsp. The only way that Armless spawns is when the Player activates something called a "Trigger Close" which it spawns him and Chases the Player down in Corridors that leads all the way to a Ladder at the end but the ladder is too short so the player would have to wait for armless to get them. If the player is too close to Armless then the screen would start to shake. When Armless catches the player then the game would exit which leaves that Armless killed the player.
History about foundonthetape and the Maps[]
The Foundonthetape ARG first started from a YouTube Channel that is the same name and was made in 2011. The YouTube Channel contained 3 videos that appears to be VHS Tapes that are titled Clip094.mp4, Clip095.mp4 and Clip084.mp4.
Clip094.mp4[]
The first video begins with VHS Footage that shows the Camera that is looking down at Feet of different people that is walking down stairs. It then shows a Person putting in a Tape in a Tape Machine and it then shows what appears to be 5 people in an Elevator, Including the Camera Man. The Footage then shows what appears to be a Murder scene as it shows a Woman looking up at something. The Camera Man would show what the woman is looking at and it shows a Decapitated Head that is crushed against Bar Handles of Stairs. The Face of the Head haves No Eyes. The Footage then ends with the Elevator scene and the Tape Machine.

The second video begins with another VHS Footage that shows the same Scene of the Camera looking down at Feet of different people from the first video but this time it then shows what appears to be a Man that is standing in close of a Car Window and the Man doesn't know that he is being Recorded. The Footage then shows a Bedroom but then a Hexadecimal chart then shows up and it's cursor moves every frame, spelling out a code. The Footage then shows what appears to be a Woman that haves no eyes and no arms. She is also walking up to the camera. It would then show another Person that also haves no arms and the Footage ends with the Man that doesn't know he is being recorded.

The final video begins with another VHS Footage that shows a Doorway that is filled with billowing dust as it then shows what appears to be a Rocket that begins spewing out sand-like material. The Footage then shows the camera moving forward in a dark space. The floor and ceiling of the dark space is made out of rectangular ridges. It then shows what appears to be an Underground area that haves pipes in the area and it then shows the same Rocket but it's not spewing out sand-like material as it also shows a series of triangular symbols on the upper left corner. The Footage then ends with what appears to be a Map.
People had to try to find the codes from the Videos and also had to Email the creator of the channel. The codes was found to be Map Files for the game Half Life 2. These Map Files contained 4 maps of the files.

The First Map first shows the Player's view inside a Room that is also in Black and White, while a Shepard Tone would start playing in the background. Players has found a way to Disable the view controller so they would roam around the room. If the player tries to leave the room then a picture of the Face from clip094.mp4 would pop up on the player's screen while a loud screeching noise would play.

The Second Map first puts the Player inside what appears to be a Maze of ventilation shafts and is also in Black and White. The Player is also given Light, suggesting that its a use of a Flashlight. In this map there is Two Endings. The First Ending is when the Player falls down a vent while a Distorted Scream would play. The Players screen would go White and a Peaceful Music would then play. The Second Ending is when the Player gets killed by an Entity in the Maze called Charple.

The Third Map first puts the Player in a Maze like tunnel that also allows the Player to jump and run. After the player crouches down from the top of the ceiling they then appear in the same room from the First Map but this time the room haves more stuff in it such as Boxes, A Radio and Other Stuff. The Door is also guarded with Boxes. When leaving the room you then enter through a large vent that also leaves the player falling down another drop that is similar to the one from the Second Map but instead it exits the game.

The Fourth Map first puts the Player in another Maze of ventilation shafts but this time it haves multiple dead ends and there is no Monster in the vents. If the player is lucky enough, they would find the Right end which leads to a Non-Fatal drop to a low level leads to more vent but with blood and bodies everywhere, including more dead ends. If the player is Lucky enough again then they will also find another non-fatal drop that leads to a lower level that is a flooded area that haves corridors and boxes in the area. After the player jumps over boxes a Trigger will activate which it spawns Armless and the Player would have to run away from armless. The Ending of the fourth map only leads with the Player finding a ladder at the end of the flooded area but the ladder is too short so the player would have to wait for Armless to get them which when armless catches them the game will exit.

- Armless makes an appearance as a kill wall in a Team Fortress 2 Death Run map titled "dr_aconian_final". He goes through everything and has a huge hit box. He also has the voice of Robert James Hoffman III in his infamous single "The Yes Dance". Touching Armless will result in an instant death, hence the "kill wall" title.
- Armless has been somewhat of a meme after foundonthetape's closure in 2011. In some memes, he's obsessed with making and devouring waffles. Succulent waffles.
- He has many nicknames names such as "COMIX Armless" (by Brutez.), "The DING Man" (by unknown.), and "Kate the Armless Lass" (by Violet Procyon) just to name a few.
- Armless also makes an appearance in a Team Fortress 2 Game Mode titled "Slender Fortress 2".
- The Breathing of Armless originates from the Poison Headcrab Zombie from Half Life 2.
