Arumi Maisaki (also known as the Deadly Sin of Greed) is one of the main antagonists of the anime series Silver Trigger.
She is a member of the Wingless Butterflies and was formerly a co-worker of Neigami Fashion Centre, alongside her vice receptionist Mutsuko Kimiyo.
Apperance[]
Arumi is a very beautiful-looking young woman, with pale peachy skin, icy blue eyes, dark greenish-bluish eyeshadow, red lipstick, and long eyelashes. Her main attire is a white button-up shirt, a black tie, a black waistcoat with two golden buttons on it, a dark grey skirt, and dark grey heeled boots.
Personality[]
Arumi is first seen to be a very bossy, intelligent and somehow sweet woman. But however, her true personality is the complete opposite of that; she is a cunning and greedy despair-filled mastermind that wants to own everything in the world. But despite that, it turns out that she wasn't always a villain after all. Her evil personality and devious plans are actually a mask that hides her true personality: melancholic, depressed, lonely and cold. She likes to hide her true personality since she didn't want any member of the Wingless Butterflies to know that she has been abused most of her life by Mutsuko.
Biography[]
Pre-Silver Trigger[]
Arumi had a really tough life growing up. When she first got her job at Neigami Fashion Centre, her co-worker Mutsuko would abuse her if she did anything wrong, despite Mutsuko's friendly personality. Time and time again, she would suffer nightmares because of Mutsuko. She joined the Wingless Butterflies because she felt like that she needed to get out of trouble.
During Silver Trigger[]
Arumi makes her debut in Episode 4, first briefly seen while the Wingless Butterfiles are plotting to kill Shenon Imai's brother Mikoto Imai. After the funeral of Mikoto to his death at the hands of Kouko, Arumi makes her first full apperance. She is first seen outside the Neigami Fashion Centre speaking to Mutsuko on her cellphone before she goes to battle Shenon to keep him and his brother in the same place. However, during her fight with Shenon, he manages to escape most of her attacks and flee from her. Afterwards, she tells Mutsuko that she has failed her mission again, causing Mutsuko to grab her by the hair and tell her not to fail again or she will torture her again. Arumi gets nervous and calms down and admits that she is sorry that she failed her plan to kill Shenon as well as his brother.
In Episode 6, Arumi helps Mazuki Tokasuma to break into the Neigami Technology Centre and hijack the machinery here. But however, the both of them are stopped by Kusuo Miyagi, Shenon Imai, and Eden Okuda. After they are forcibly stopped from doing their plans, Arumi and Mazuki have to share the news to the other members of the Wingless Butterflies that they have failed them again. After Masuda hears that, he calls them both a failure to mankind.
In Episode 9, Arumi joins Yokocho Marikuso and Kaznuku Owijuro to cause mass destruction in the Neigami Central Bank. However, they are stopped yet again by Kusuo and his friends, leading up to a 3V3 battle. After the fight, they are yet again forcibly stopped from finishing the trio off and destroying the bank completely, sending them off to announce another failure to Masuda.
In Episode 12, Arumi and Aeron Mizuno team up together to kidnap Sayaka Kazani and torture her. During the process, they unsuccessfully try, only to notice that Sayaka is not home right now and is busy. However, Eden manages to stop them both in the distance and runs off to fight both of them. The fight is intense, leading to Eden almost dying but she manages to stop them both, sending them off to announce yet another failure to Masuda.
In Episode 13, her true personality is revealed. The same episode also uses flashbacks from her horrible relationship with Mutsuko.
In Episode 16, when Shenon 'herocially' sets fire to the Neigami Fashion Centre when Kusuo and his friends track down Arumi and try to slay her, Arumi fights back and tries to kill them, but during the battle, she decides to flight instead of fight as she leaps from the balcony of the fashion centre to escape from the destruction, resulting in her breaking both of her legs and containing other minor injuries. After Arumi's failed escape attempt, she tries to crawl away, but Mutsuko notices her and pulls her away from floor and wields her in her arms. She then tells Arumi that she has now felt bad for abusing her throughout her life and wants to make both her and Arumi's lives better, just moments before Eden shoots them both dead with her TechnologiGun. As they lay on the floor dying, Arumi says that the thought of dying together would be absolutely lovely, before taking her last breath. A few seconds after Arumi stops breathing, Mutsuko says that it would be lovely to stop their evil deeds and move on, before she dies too.
After the deaths of Ayumi and Mutsuko, their bodies also go down with the flames.
