“ | It is time to end this, human... Let us see which species will rule the Surface... But there is no reason to fight me, as I already know we monsters will be victorious... After all, you humans took everything from us, so we will get our revenge on you all... While you were roaming around in the Underground, getting to know everyone a little better...I absorbed the six human SOULs, and with these newfound godlike powers, I will destroy the Barrier and destroy humanity... Then, we monsters will have our home back, and you humans will crumble beneath our heel like the horrid creatures you are... So, shall we begin? It is time for humanity's fall! | „ |

“ | You really are something else... But that does not mean I am going to give up! | „ |

Supreme King Asgore Dreemurr, also known as the King of All Monsters, is the titular main antagonist of the fanmade Undertale game Undertale: Monster's Day.
Asgore is the supreme king of all monsters in the Underground and the very being that started the war between humans and monsters in the first place. After a long fought battle between both sides, the humans were eventually victorious and sealed the monsters away in a cave in Mt. Ebott. Asgore, enraged after his defeat and his children's deaths by the hands of humans, sought revenge against humankind. He sought to aquire seven human SOULs by killing the children who fell through Mt. Ebott and into the Underground, then absorb the SOULs to gain godlike powers and use these said powers to break the Barrier and destroy humanity and assume control over his rightful position as the King of the Surface.
Personality[]
Asgore is power hungry and utterly cruel, as he did not feel any remorse after killing the Six Humans who fell into the Underground, in fact, he did it with a gleeful smile on his face. As stated by Asgore's ex-wife Toriel, he is a ruthless predator that will do everything in his power to get Frisk killed, be it by his hands or another monster's, hence why Toriel eventually left him because of his bloodlust and hunger for power and why she takes so good care of Frisk when they first fell into the Underground.
Despite Asgore's hunger for power and murderous behavior, Asgore did have a loving relationship with his wife Toriel, and deeply cared for his son Asriel and his adopted child. After the death of both his children and swearing revenge against humanity however, Toriel divorced him and left feeling disgusted and betrayed by his actions. The grief of losing his beloved children caused him to act irrationally.
Asgore is known for being rather poor at coming up with names, naming things quite literally, as he found a home for his people and named it "Home." Likewise, when they found a new home, he seemingly named it "New Home". Gerson mentions that Toriel "was really the brains behind the throne", suggesting that Asgore is not the most intellectual monster.
Appearance[]
Asgore appears as an anthropomorphic goat with blonde hair and beard. His eyes are pupil-less and is slightly overweight, but this does not stop him from battling. After absorbing the six human souls, his horns grow longer in size and he gains a multicolored robe with golden epaulettes.
Notable Attacks[]
- Fire Magic: He can still use his fire magic, but with far greater skill
- Trident: He is extremely proficient with his trident, swiping it at high speeds to strike his opponent. The trident leaves behind trails of magic, making it impossible to dodge by conventional means. This time, Asgore's magic is not orange nor blue, so the opponent cannot avoid being harmed by his trident.
- Star Blazing: Asgore sends a hailstorm of stars to rain down on his opponent, followed by a massive star that explodes into many other stars that spiral out in all directions.
- Shocker Breaker: Asgore calls upon numerous transdimensional lightning to strike across the battlefield. Asgore's version of this attack is faster and more intense than Asriel's.
- Will Destruction: Asgore basically destroys his opponent's will to fight, flee, or anything.
- Timeline Destruction: With his trident, Asgore destroys the timeline he and his opponent are fighting in.
- Celestial Cataclysm: Asgore raises his arms toward the sky, and the surrounding area darkens as stars begin to twinkle above. The camera zooms out to show a celestial sphere forming overhead. A glowing sigil appears on the ground beneath Asgore, indicating the area of effect for the upcoming attack on the Bullet Board. Asgore thrusts his hands forward, directing the orbiting stars to merge into a single massive comet. The comet ignites with a brilliant blue flame as it hurtles towards the ground. The comet crashes into the center of the sigil, creating a powerful shockwave that knocks back the SOUL within the radius. The impact zone erupts in flames, dealing significant damage over time if the SOUL is caught within.
- Multiversal Eruption: If he feels he must do so, Asgore releases a powerful shockwave of SOUL energy that destroys the multiverse.

Trivia[]
- His first name is an anagram of the Latin word "Aegros", which can mean troublesome, anxious, sad, difficult, or reluctant.
- His full name is also an anagram of "Sage or Murderer" or "Guarder Remorse" (which could be a reference to him guarding the monsters and feeling remorse for murdering human children).
- Also, Asgore is similar to the old Norse name "Asgeirr", meaning "God Spear". This may be a reference to the large trident he wields in battle.
- His full name is also an anagram of "Sage or Murderer" or "Guarder Remorse" (which could be a reference to him guarding the monsters and feeling remorse for murdering human children).
- His theme, "Bergentrückung" can translate to "Excavation", which might be a nod to him still having to bury those he has killed.
- However, "Bergentrückung" also translates to "Mountain King" in German. This states that he is the king of the monsters under Mount Ebott.
- Asgore is the one who killed all the humans before Frisk, barring Chara.
- This fanon Asgore is much, much crueler than the canon Asgore form Undertale.
