Ash Ketchum is the titular antagonist of the Beanie Bros video Mario VS Ash Ketchum.
Like his mainstream counterpart, he is a 10-year old child who plans to catch all of the Pokemon to become the best Pokemon trainer, but in the video, he plots to attack both Mario and Yoshi thinking that the latter is his Pokemon. However, after sending Pikachu to attack them, Ash is reduced to tears when Yoshi swallows him whole and traps him in an egg, mourning his fate before Yoshi eats him as well.

Ash Ketchum's appearance in the video is the same as his original counterpart.
Personality[]
Like in the original series, Ash Ketchum is a young child who wishes to become the best Pokemon Trainer that no one has ever been. However, this would become an obsession for him to the point that he would defy anyone with what he considers as a Pokemon, even if it doesn't look like one, as seen when he encounters Mario and Yoshi and plots to defeat both of them, despite Mario's pleas and Yoshi not being a Pokemon at all. Aside from this, he cares deeply about Pikachu as when Yoshi swallows him, Ash breaks down into sadness and mourns him, due to him being trapped in an egg presumably for good.
Biography[]
While Mario and Yoshi were taking a nice walk in a forest, Ash Ketchum throws a Pokeball in front of them and summons Pikachu. Mario, scared, orders Yoshi to stay back from the Pokemon. As he does, Ash challenges both of them into a fight, telling them that he and his "Pokemon" are going down.
To persuade Mario into fighting him, he has Pikachu slap Yoshi in the face, making him fear for his life as he pleads Ash to spare him and promises to give him whatever he wants, but the latter reveals his intentions of becoming the "very best" like no one ever was. He then has Pikachu use thunderbolt in order to defeat them, exclaiming that he gotta catch them all with a determined look on his face, but as his Pokemon charges the attack, Yoshi suddenly swallows him with his tongue and traps him in an egg, making Ash concerned as he hears Pikachu's muffled screaming.
He then approaches the egg and attempts to have Pikachu hatch out of it, wanting him to come back, but in vain. Upset that his Pokemon is now gone, he is reduced to tears as he mourns the fate of his Pokemon, but shortly after, Yoshi swallows him as well, leaving his fate unknown.
