Ash "Amonglita" Maroon better known simply as Maroon is a supporting antagonist of the Friday Night Funkin mod VS Imposter.
He serves as the main antagonist of Week 5 "Magmatic Monstrosity". He, like a majority of the other antagonists, is an imposter who is attempting to get rid of the crewmates, with him going for Boyfriend first.
Appearance[]
Maroon is a small bean-shaped astronaut wearing, as the name implies, a maroon outfit with a blue visor. He wears a black bandana and carries a golden knife in his right hand, and he has three triangular fangs.
When ejected during Boiling Point, Maroon reveals his parasite form, becoming much larger than he was before. Cracks start forming on his outfit, revealing a warm glow, and eight spider-like tentacles emerge from his back. Two large black horns emerge from his head, with the right one retaining his bandana.
Personality[]
Maroon has shown himself to have a rather toxic personality. Constantly calling people names and just in general being an unpleasant individual. In general the best way to describe his personality is annoying.
Biography[]
During a game of Among Us set in Polus, Boyfriend and Girlfriend run into the Maroon Imposter, who immediately insults Boyfriend before he even gets to speak, saying that he can "smell the b*tch in him" before asking if the two wanna hear him spit some heat, to which Boyfriend asks if it'll make him go away, with him responding with a simple "no".
Upon beating him in the first song, Maroon, irritated by his loss, states that he was right about Boyfriend being a b*tch. Having reached his breaking point, Boyfriend tells him to shut up and that he will stab himself if he has to deal with another imposter, to which Maroon responds by threatening to stab him in the face, Boyfriend, being unwilling to take this, initiates the next song.
After said song has concluded, as emergency meeting is called, where Brown tries to figure out who out of Maroon, Boyfriend and Girlfriend is the imposter, after not being able to decide, they choose to just have both Boyfriend and Maroon voted out. Maroon, enraged by this, transforms into his parasite form, where the last song of the week takes place. Although what happens after the song is left ambiguous, it can be assumed that Maroon and Boyfriend perish in the lava.

- He is a transgender male.
- Originally, he was actually in a relationship with White, however this was once seemingly been retconned. However, it has been made canon again
- Maroon was originally meant to kill GameToons' Player before the week starts, but was scrapped for time.
- Due to this, he is the only villain in the main story mode to have not successfully killed anyone over the course of the mod.
- Maroon is around 20 years old.[1]
- Originally, Maroon was meant to burn up by the end of Boiling Point, but was scrapped.[2] It's implied that he still goes out like this, considering he's surrounded by magma with no conceivable way out.
- He is NOT inspired by Hank J. Wimbleton, with his headband just being the one from Among Us.[3]
- That being said, his Parasite design is based on Hank J. Wimbleton MC6.
- Maroon is only slightly stronger than Red, and considering that Red is the weakest Impostor, isn't saying much.[4]
- If he were to wield a gun, it would be golden. He rarely uses firearms, though.[5]
- In the joke V5 hotfix update, Maroon uses the color brown, due to maroon not being available as a color in Among Us when V1 of the mod first came out.
