The Assassin is one of the Evil Roles in the Roblox Social Deduction game Flicker. They are the second killing role in the game and one of the Murderer's henchmen.
Summary[]
The Assassin is a Evil role who will be given to a random player at the start of the match. Unlike other roles, the Assassin will know exactly who the Murderer is and must assist him into finding the other members of the Evil Team and eliminate the Good Team.
However, unlike the Murderer who can kill at all times, the Assassin can only kill once which means they have to be careful to not waste their only kill on someone who is already going to be killed by the Murderer. Despite this, their attack is unstoppable, meaning nobody can survive it. Because of that, the Assassin can be useful for killing a important player of the Good Team who is under the protection of a Medic.
Mechanics[]
- At the start of the game, The Assassin will know exactly who the Murderer is, unlike other Evil roles who must find out by investigating.
- while they know who the Murderer is, the Murderer won't know who the Assassin is and can end up accidentally killing them, so it's better for the Assassin to reveal their identity to the Murderer by using Notes.
- They kill by selecting a player during a Night/Flick. If the Assassin doesn't select anyone, they can still kill in the next Night or later.
- Their attack is unstoppable, meaning they can kill anyone including players under the protection of a Medic. This ability is useful for killing Detectives, Spies and Psychics, as those are usually under the protection of a Medic.
- Even through their attack is unstoppable, they can be roleblocked by a Witch which prevents them from attacking someone during that Night.
- Also, while their attack is unstoppable, players killed by the Assassin can still be ressurected by a Savior.
- They win once all members of the Good Team have been eliminated.
Trivia[]
- The Assassin is the only role in the game that will know the identity of the Murderer at the start, all other roles (Including Evil Roles) have to find out by using their investigative abilities.
