Awesamdude, also known as simply Sam or The Warden, is a major character in the Minecraft web series Dream SMP.
He appears as a supporting character in Season 1 and 2, one of the two secondary antagonist of Season 3 (Alongside Antfrost), and a major character in Season 4.
He is a co-founder of The Badlands and Las Nevadas, and the brutish former warden of the server's maximum security prison, Pandora's Vault. Although he originally started off as once a friendly, neutral character, his behaviour then began to drastically shift with the time of imprisoning Dream, who he had been keeping locked up in prison, he then led himself upon becoming a much colder, crueler and authoritarian jailer following Tommy's death and Dream's escape.
He is portrayed by the streamer with the same name.
Appearance[]
Awesamdude is a tall, anthropomorphic creeper that wears golden boots, a chestplate and a crown with a red gem in the middle. He has really small pp, as Sapnap once said. Sam really like wearing red strings and panties. He also has big ass. According to Awesamdude, he has multiple bodies that he can transfer his conscioussness into.
History[]
Pre-Season 3[]
Awesamdude was one of the original eight members of the SMP during 2020, first appearing in GeorgeNotFound's April 28 stream. He would go on to play roles in many of the server's events, including the Manberg Rebellion, the Pet Wars, and the Manberg vs Pogtopia War. During the Retribution Arc, he was hired by Dream to build Pandora's Vault, a maximum security prison with the apparent intent of containing TommyInnit.
Sam and the other server inhabitants eventually realised Dream's true malicious plans, and helped Tommy defeat him during the Disc Confrontation, with him also suggesting him to be detained in Pandora's Vault. He also offers to guard him and protect the rest of the server from his tyranny.
Season 3[]
In the battle against Sapnap, he used arrows to kill his army. Sapnap then made a offer. He came into Sapnap's castle to check out the offer, only to be revealed to be a trap. Sapnap then commanded to fed him to the crocodiles. Sam begged for mercy, but Sapnap answered with "Screw this tyrann, he already said his last words". Sam was then dragged away by the guards and throwed into the pit of crocodiles and snakes.
After Sam escaped from Sapnap's hands, he hid in the woods for a very long time. There he met Foolish Gamers, who were very friendly to him. They were romantically involved. In the end, Sam bore him three children, leaving them all to be raised by his father. Jet met Sam and invited him to his hut where he took care of his omega every day.
Dream was in prison all this time... In the end, the valiant knight Meow broke him out and fed him. Three months later, they became a real couple, their romance was based on a common dislike of potatoes and salt water.
