Agent Ayman Zade is the main antagonist of the 2022 fanfilm Maze Runner: The Final Revolution.
He is a corrupt agent working for Ronel Corporations, lead by the tyrannical businessman and the company's director Hassan Ronel, and his nephew Hakim Ronel. He is also the archenemy of Maria Lloyd.
He is portrayed by John Boyega.
History[]
Agent Ayman Zade was hired by The Egyptian Government to secretly create a virus and betray his allegiance to Ronel Corporations, lead by the religious businessman and the company's research director and highest-ranking official Hassan Ronel.
He was sent along with Adam Pryce to capture the last holder of the mutated gene who was no other than Adam's girlfriend, Maria Lloyd.
Ayman and Ronel captured Maria before she prevented them from succeeding with their mission. However, Ronel soon realized that he was merely a pawn for the government who placed Ayman as the company's secret inner traitor, who was meant to create the virus as a biological weapon which could even end humanity for the government leaders to be the sole survivors.
After realizing Ayman was using him, Ronel calls Adam in and reveals that he was his uncle and that Adam was once identified as Hakim Ronel. Ayman out of ambition went to kill the facility's invaders. He first killed Thomas after confessing the truth, and then he met Adam as the two of them went to finish their job. He then betrayed and killed the fully redeemed Hassan Ronel, who promised Maria that she could save the world and Adam's life. He then injected Maria with a serum which knocked her out for a few minutes. He and Adam took her to the lab and Adam still pretended to help him achieve his goals. However, when he tried to use his device and wipe out Maria's memories so she will become a Glader with her mutated gene and her abilities, Adam shot the glass tank behind him, and after Adam rescued Maria and ran away with her, Ayman was brutally attacked and consumed by the zombified lab rats, before the room exploded.
Personality[]
Ayman is a truly ambitious and cunning madman. He uses Ronel Corporations for his own needs and he only cares about his own position and survival in a dark, chaotic world which The Egyptian Government intends to create through him and his former boss Hassan Ronel. He is treacherous enough to kill his boss and betray his own allies. All in one, Ayman Zade is a ruthless mastermind who seems to commit many atrocities and enjoy while others suffer around him. However, he was a coward when the zombified lab rats were ready to kill him and consume his flesh.
Trivia[]
- Despite being the main antagonist, he is not as powerful as Adam Pryce and Hassan Ronel, since he directly worked for them until he betrayed the latter, and they were the ones who had the biggest plans despite Ayman becoming the main villain during the film's second half.
- He is based on Janson from the original trilogy.
