Azathoth, Also Called The Blind Idiot God, Ayin, God (And many more names) Is the Overarching Character of The Velvet King He is the Creator of all reality and by Extension the Entire Outerverse, and all life itself, however one day he is bound to wake up from his dream and destroy all of reality, to perhaps create it again

Appearance

Azathoth appears as a large yellow eye with a purple-energy light in the middle of it, the rest of his body is made out of a purple-crimson like orbs and large tentacles, and he has been described as sleeping in the centre of the universe itself

Personality

Not much of azathoth's personality is known, however he has been shown to be sleep and uncaring towards most things, as he tries to focus on keeping himself in a dream like state, he has also been shown to be an dimwit, who does not seem to understand his own dreams, while at the same time has been described as all knowing, it could be perhaps that he simply does not care enough to actually use his powers. His personality has been described by many as chaotic and strange, such as by Yog-Sothoth

History

The Creation of Reality

Azathoth, before creating reality was said to be in an endless void of darkness, with nothing but himself in it, and when falling asleep had created an entire Outerverse, as well as creating all higher realities and creating all of the cosmos and the abyss, even creating The Outer Gods as his offsprings, however his state of dreaming was somewhat unstable, and azathoth asked Yog-Sothoth and his Court to help him stay asleep, as he would know that waking up would destroy reality.

Present

In the present, Azathoth resides in the center of the universe and all of existence, as he kept alseep by his court, and tries his best to stay in his dream

Powers and Abilities

• Omnipotence: Azathoth is omnipotent, and quite literally embodies the very concept of omnipotent, all of existence is but a mere thought of azathoth, It is even said that Azathoth transcends even the the story itself, and that he represents the author/watcher of the story itself
• Omnilock: Azathoth is above all dimensions, including the bounds of the story and existence itself, everything that has, was, and will be is only the imagination of azathoth
• Chaos Embodiment: Azathoth embodies primordial chaos, and is the very root of all things chaotic

Trivia

• Azathoth is possibly one of the strongest fanon characters ever, as all of existence including the story is a mere thought of him
• Azazthoth is meant to represent the author and the watcher of the story
• Despite being omnipotent, Azathoth spends his time in slumber, dreaming
