Don't be confused with his incarnation from the book.
Tyler Takaliken (better known as BFP) is the main anti-hero in Tyler Ahlström's "The Return to Freddy's" FNaF fan-game series.
He appears as the main antagonist of The Return to Freddy's 1 & 2 (in both as The Puppet), and main antagonist in The Return to Freddy's 3 (as Lockjaw). He also has a major role in The Return to Freddy's 4, & was planned to get such in canceled The Return to Freddy's 5.
He was Grön & Lynda's oldest son, and Jackson's older brother, before being stuffed & springlocked inside of Frankburt-the main mascot of Frankburt's Pizza, by Vincent. Since that day, his restless spirit, switching between The Puppet-the gift-giving animatronic from Fredbear's Family Diner, and Frankburt himself, now known as "Lockjaw", started haunting all Fazbear Entertainment's establishments, giving life to other Vincent's victims as well, & trying to get revenge on him for what he done to them all.
Appearance[]
Human[]
In TRTF 2-4 mini-games, Tyler looked like a young boy, with light skin & green eyes(black in TRTF 2 mini-games, & blue in TRTF 3 "The Joy of Creation" mini-game). He wears a light-blue long sleeve, dark blue jeans, dark shoes, and a black fedora hat, with white stripe on it. After his death, his ghost, similary to Crying Children from original FNaF mini-games, is oftenly shown having more black-&-white monochromatic palette, with also completely black eyes and dark-grey tears, always leaking from them.
In later TRTF 5 teaser games, his design was slightly changed, with adding visible dark brown hair, red strip on hat, & eyes being usually portraited as black. He also looked more like a teen, than just a child.
In his older concept/design, shown in TRTF 1 mini-games, he also looks more like a grown-up adult or teen, then actual kid. He was wearing cyan shirt, dark gray jeans, brown belt with white plaque, more long hair, and black-&-dark-gray striped scarf.
Animatronic[]
FrankBurt/Lockjaw[]
For some unknown reasons, FrankBurt even before being possessed, was very similar to Tyler.
In TRTF 2, he looks like a tall animatronic "human", with round-shaped head, clay-colored "skin", white iris & pupils, similary to Phantom Animatronics and Springtrap from FNaF 3, red cheeks, similary to Toy Animatronics from FNaF 2, triangle nose, 4 fingers per-hand, and small mouth, full of white teeth. He also weared a black fedora hat, with white strip on it, light blue "shirt", & dark-blue "trousers". He also has exposed endoskeleton feet.
In TRTF 3, Lockjaw uses almost the same appearance, but with soft redesign, including 1 black button on his "shirt"(similary to Springtrap from FNaF 3), and slightly changed proportions, like having now 5 fingers per-hand, instead of only 4. He is also has more darker and dim color tones, like rotten greyish skin, & even more dark "trousers" and "shirt". But his main difference from the TRTF 2 version, is actually his terrible condition-Lockjaw has completely withered, molden greenish texture(again similary to Springtrap Phantoms), with lots of scratches, rips and holes covering his suit, & multuple wires sticking out of him. You can also see Tyler's mauled corpse inside of him.
The Puppet[]
Actually, there's not much to say about Puppet's appearance, cause he looks just identically to his original counterpart from FNaF 2. He looks like a black, tall and lanky humanoid puppet/marionette, having very long and flexible limbs. He has a shiny white "face"/mask, with hollow cut-out eyes and smile, red cheeks and lipstick, & purple(blue in TRTF 2) tear-stripes from eyes to mouth. Also, he has a 3 white buttons on his chest, 3 white stripes on both of his wrists, 3 finger per-hand, and 9 of the same stripes, entirely covering both of his non-feeted legs. It seems that he has some kind of ability to literally floating around the place, even not using his legs, making them just flutter through the air.
Also, in TRTF 1 Night 4 cut-scene, Puppet appears as his "shadowy variant"(later revealed as "Shadow Lockjaw", but don't be confused with the actual Shadow Lockjaw from later games). He is actually looks the same as normal Puppet, but he just entirely black, with only white glowing pupils been seen. He is also wears a black "shadowy" fedora hat, same as Lockjaw has.
Personality[]
It's hard to assume anything about his personality, but as it was revealed in FIND ME & LORE.TXT, Tyler was a loving & caring son, always wanting his best for his family. But since the day, when everyone he loved are gone, Tyler gained a constant melancholy & childhood trauma, as he still shown grieving for his lose 'till this very day. As mentioned by Shadow Lockjaw in one one of FIND ME flashbacks, Tyler's worst nightmare is to lose his beloved ones yet again, & being left all alone.
At the same time, after his own decease, all his wrath & despair turned him into insane & feral monster, wanting to quench his bloodlust & eternal suffering by taking revenge on his murderer, no matter how many innocent people he can harm on his way. But suprisingly enough, the nature he had isn't completely gone, as similary to Charlie Emily from original FNaF, Tyler serves as the "caretaker" for the rest of the dead kids, by giving them new life in animatronic bodies, & trying his best to help his new "friends" release their souls & meet their happiest day.
Biography[]
NOTE: Due to the story of the series having many inconsistencies and different versions, the information presented below may not be fully accurate and is rather an attempt at explaining the story by combining the information from each version.
There's not much known about Tyler's childhood, or his early life in the first place. Only thing we know that he had a small loving family, including his father-Grön, his mother-Lynda, and his little brother-Jackson. Also, his father had a best friend-Vincent.
1943-GoldieParaDiner[]
The First Loss....[]
On December 23rd, 1943, Grön, decided to brought all of his family at "GoldieParaDiner"-the small diner he worked at, just to celebrate those christmas holidays together. Everything was okay, but at the middle of their way, their car just crashed in someone's other. Takalikens were very injured, to the point they all lost consciousness, but fortunally, some residents are witnessed them, and called an ambulance. Due to all of these injures, like back split & broken neck, Lynda & Jackson were already dead, but Grön & Tyler still had a chance to survive.
By the late evening, both of them were finally awakened from coma. The doctors told them about what happened, & for Grön, this day was the most terrible day in his entire life-he couldn't accept, that he just lost 2 of 3 the most dear people. Tyler, who of course, also grieved a lot about lose of mommy and brother, tried to cheer his daddy up, but it didn't help. His father was completely shattered, losing any sense in his life(except Tyler, of course). Anyway, they returned to home, and on the next day–December 24th, they celebrated this christmas alone. One of the gifts that he get was actually Grön's own fedora hat, which suprisingly made his boy very happy.
Days passed, time was close to the Christmas itself. No matter how Tyler and Vincent are tried to cheer up Grön, he still was very upset, and his grievening still only continued to grow more and more, before he completely started to slowly lose his mind. He heard a strange voices in his headd saw various flashbacks and hallucinations of his dead wife d son& the most horrible....was his growing bloodlust & vengeance. Grön never was the same kind friend & loving father he was before—he became completely insane, feral & sadistic psychopath, with consta t and literal obsession in murdering people, especially kids.
The Worst Christmas....
One day, on December 28th, for 3 days before Christmas, Grön decided to bring his son in GPD, just to help them both unwind from what happened few days ago. But at some point, the same voices he heard before, started forcing him.......to kill his son. Deeply in mind, Jester didn't wanted to do it—despite all his tendencies, he still loved his son, & murdering him would be the red line.....but his inner demons kept tormenting him from inside, so he "just had no choice", as he thought. He told Tyler that he wanna show him "something fun & interesting", then grabbed his hand, & they together went somewhere.....way far from dining area, & from other people.
As they progressed, Tyler started to feel little worried, he asked his daddy where they going, but Grön didn't replied. After that, they entered a small backroom, with 2 unstable springlock protypes—"Golden FrankBurt", & "Golden Kitty". Tyler asked his dad who are they, & why he even brought him here. But Grön didn't replied again-his mind was too misty at this point. Instead, Grön just grabbed his son's hands, & impaled them on special hooks, usually used for fixation of animatronics on the wall. He started literally torturing poor kid, who started screaming, crying, he couldn't belive his father would one day just do such thing to him.
But at one moment, right after Tyler almost fainted, the same voices told insane jester to stop. Instead, they for some reason said him......to wear one of the suits. He chosen the "FrankBurt" one, & right after he got inside, due to springlocks being unstable, he was painfully killed & mauled inside by them. Right in the moment, Vincent eventually also arrived the room, witnessing both his springlocked friend, twitching in sufferage, & his friend's almost fainted son, hanging on the hooks. He was so shocked & terryfied by what happened, that when he came closer to "Golden FrankBurt" suit, he didn't even noticed that Tyler was actually still alive, & even somehow managed to free himself from hooks.
After that, he slowly walked away from this cursed room, as fast as he could, before returning to the dining area, & lose consiousness again. Fortunally, people who saw him immediatly called ambulance, & he was sent to the hospital.
1958-FrankBurt's Pizza[]
Few months after that horrible incident, in 1958, the owners of now closed GoldieParaDiner decided to rebrand this location, & reopen as entirely new pizzeria, named "FrankBurt's Pizza". All of the old suits, including FredBear, SpringBonnie, Freddy, Bonnie, Chica & Foxy, were then just tossed away in the storage basement, along with Golden Kitty, & "Golden FrankBurt"
The Return to Freddy's 2[]
TBA
Gameplay[]
In TRTF 2, Tyler, using form of The Puppet, starts being active on the very 1st night. He will just sit inside of his giant "gift-box", and your task is not to let him leave it under any circumstances. His mechanic is completely the same as the original Puppet from FNaF 2-you just need to regulary check the "Party Room 2" camera, and winding up the music box to always keeping music on. But if you fail, and music in the box will go off, Puppet will immediately escape the box, and then just jumpscare & kill you.
Also, on Night 5, when Sugar isn't on "Parts/Service" camera, you have a small chance that instead of him, you'll see Lockjaw(or Frankburt, to be exact)who just sitting there in the same pose as Sugar himself. His behavior is similar to original Shadow Freddy from FNaF 2-he is just a secret easter egg, who isn't even acting hostile to you, as you can just flip the monitor or change the camera, and he'll disappear. Also, you can see a various blinking hallucinations of Lockjaw's faces, sometimes blinking at the second. In cancelled Major Updates, it was even meant that he'll get a larger role, being actually hostile to you, but this was unfortunally scrapped.
The Return to Freddy's 1[]
In TRTF 1, Tyler appears yet again Lockjaw himself does not appear in the game. He is the main antagonist in most of the games.
However, the Nightmare Fuel menu from The Return to Freddy's 4 claims that he appeared in the classic version. Shadow Lockjaw is Lockjaw, according to BFPFilms424/Tyler, as said in a livestream. Nightmare Fuel also said that the child that possessed Lockjaw once possessed The Puppet.
The Return to Freddy's 2 Major Updates[]
In the cancelled Major Updates for 2018, Lockjaw's appearance was once again considerably changed. His model was modified to be less spherical and majorly improved, being equipped with an actual endoskeleton. His coloring is now less wrinkled, although it keeps being a little rotten. He's now seen wearing a black fedora with a red stripe (unlike his original design, which has a white stripe) along with a black bowtie and two black buttons on his chest. His eyes are now colored green and he was given brown hair on his head mask.
The Return to Freddy's 3[]
Lockjaw makes his first full appearance in The Return to Freddy's 3, now as the main antagonist of the game as well as being one of the main mascots of Fazbear Fantasy Land. He now has a much larger role compared to the one he had in TRTF 2.
His behavior starts from Night 2 and onwards, Lockjaw will first appear in CAM 10. Lockjaw will then proceed to move into CAM 09 before then going into CAM 08, CAM 06, CAM 05, CAM 03 and then finally into CAM 02. After that Lockjaw will then proceed to quickly sprint through Blake's office before then jump scaring the player. To defend yourself from Lockjaw, the player must lock the doors (which are accessed through the cameras). If the player ever loses track of Lockjaw, he's luckily hooked up to the "View Animatronic" function on the Signal Panel, so you can always know where he is. However, if Lockjaw is already in the player's office, it can't be done, as the doors can only be locked through the cameras.
The Return to Freddy's 4[]
Lockjaw comes back as the main antagonist of The Return to Freddy's 4. He used to be a TV Showbiz animatronic used in the original Freddy Fazbear's Pizza from 1987 that was found decades later by the Phone Buddies and kept in Freddy Fazzy Funtime for future use.

Trivia[]
- His first name "Tyler", as well as the character itself, obviously, is the self-insert of TRTF creator himself-Tyler Ahlström.
- His nickname "Lockjaw", after being springlocked, is possibly inspired by Springtrap from FNaF 3, with the word "lock" coming from "springlock". Still unknown what does the word "jaw" can mean in this context, by the way.
- Also the word "lockjaw" itself is basically synonym to the word "tetanus".
- Lockjaw's true name "Frankburt", before Tyler's corpse was inside, besides being parody of "Fredbear" or "Fazbear" from original FNaF(as well as "Frankburt's Pizza" being parody of "Fazbear's Pizza"), was also based on very old joke FNaF-themed prankcall video, where the person misheard "Fazbear's Pizza" as "Frank Burcz Pizza"
- His appearance, both as human, & both as Lockjaw, was also based on IRL Tyler's old OC/profile picture from Gamejolt & IndieDB.
- His human design can be also inspired by Charlie Emily's old design from FNaF 2 "Take Cakes to The Children" mini-game, & Crying Child from FNaF 4 mini-games.
- His appearance as Lockjaw is also obviosly based on already mentioned Springtrap from FNaF 3, with Tyler's corpse being parody of William's corpse from original. At the same time, his design can be inspired by Withered Animatronics or Balloon Boy, from FNaF 2.
- Also, his common nickname "BFP" from files is also shorten for "BFPFilms424"-IRL Tyler's old username.
- Along with that, in-game Tyler himself is technically a "self-representation" of IRL Tyler himself, as his backstory is based on IRL Tyler's actual life story, with Grön/Golden Lockjaw being representation of his actual father, Leala/Kitty FazCat being representation of his actual ex-girlfriend, & of course, all missing children being representations of IRL Tyler's actual close friends, & just former members of Sabani Team.
- Also, most of death mini-games from TRTF 4 are actually not even related to the lore, as they are just representations of actual moments from IRL Tyler's real life
- His nickname "Lockjaw", after being springlocked, is possibly inspired by Springtrap from FNaF 3, with the word "lock" coming from "springlock". Still unknown what does the word "jaw" can mean in this context, by the way.
