~ Babidi awakening and introducing Majin Buu. |
Babidi is the secondary antagonist of The Majin Buu Saga In 5 Minutes, the third and final instalment of the Dragon Ball Z In 5 Minutes series made by Mega64.
He is a sorcerer who is the sole reason Majin Buu was awakened. Throughout the course of the video, he attempts to use him for his own personal gain and treats him like a pawn. He is also the superior of Spopovich. Even though he isn’t the main antagonist, his actions indirectly led to the extinction of humanity and the destruction of Earth.
He is portrayed by Johnny Weiss, in his first villainous role.
Biography[]
Babidi first appears right beside the orb that contains Majin Buu and manically laughing. His henchman, Spopovich gives him the energy that he absorbed during the fight against Gohan/Sayainman in a vacuum-esque device. Babidi thanks Spopovich for this, but that thanks wasn’t genuine as he causes Spopovich’s body to spontaneously combust, brutally killing him. He then notices that Goku, Krillin, Piccolo and Vegeta are trying to thwart his plans, so he brainwashes Vegeta, which causes him to fight Goku. During the battle, Babidi uses the same energy absorbing device to absorb the energy dispersed throughout the battle. The device seems to have filled up, due to the incredible amounts of energy that it contains. Babidi inserts the device into the pod that contains Majin Buu, and releases Majin Buu in the process.
Trivia[]
- Despite being the secondary antagonist and failing the Heinous Standard to all three incarnations of Buu, he is more evil than them due to him having no moral agency issues and being more sadistic than them (or at least, the first form of Buu).
- He has the second lowest kill count in the whole series, with the lowest being tied with Dr. Gero and Captain Ginyu.
