	~ Balthazar Bratt's catchphrase before battling the player and Gru in Despicable Forces

Balthazar Bratt, also known simply as Bratt is a major antagonist in the Shovelware universe, specifically being the main antagonist of ESCAPE THE MINIONS!! Adventure Obby, (later renamed to Get The Bananas Back Obby) a major antagonist of Despicable Forces, and its remake Despicable Forces Ultimate, and a major character of its DLC, Episode Dru.

In the former obby, he steals all of the Minions' bananas, causing them to protest and start a riot, later attempting to defeat the player once they find out about his plans. In the latter obby, he joins forces with Mel to assist him in defeating Gru and the player and taking over the world.

Appearance

Balthazar Bratt is a athletically built slim human donning a mullet hair cut and a grown out mustache. His attire consists of a purple blazer, white undershirt, black gloves, and white shoes.

Biography

ESCAPE THE MINIONS!! Adventure Obby

Sometime before the obby, Bratt would manipulate the Minions against Gru and the player, by stealing their bananas, causing the Minions to go protest.

Bratt then physically appears in his Gum Ship Fleet, where after the player climbs onto the ship, he taunts them and states that they will not be able to get the bananas back. Later, after the player breaks into the ship and confronts Bratt, he responds by sending them into the arcade world of Donkey Kong. After they escape, Bratt sets up the player in a 80s pop quiz, which they eventually get through, right before he sends them into a chamber, filling up with minions he bribed to kill the player.

After the player gets past all of his traps, Bratt is left with one option: Challenge the player to a dance fight. Sometime during the dance fight, Steve Carell gives the player the guitar, and by the power of music, duels Bratt who is wielding his sonic keytar. The player is able to overwhelm Bratt with their power and blow him up, leaving him and his ship in shambles, as he laments his new puffed-out afro.

Despicable Forces

Sometime before the events of the second game, Mel would be possessed by his nametag, and thus recruit Bratt as one of his lackeys, alongside Vector, Dru, and El Macho. After Mel defeats Gru, Bratt then imprisons him, alongside the player in his Gum Ship Fleet prison within outer space. With nothing in his way, Bratt assists Mel in his plans for world domination.

During the game, the player and Gru would travel to Shovelware Casino and track down Bratt. Bratt, already anticipating this occurrence, sends his Clive bots to stop the duo, and plans to destroy the Wheel of Fortune. (which would reveal the words of the sentence on how to defeat Mel) Upon confronting Bratt on the Wheel of Fortune, he arrives on a disco floor platform in an attempt to defeat the player and Gru. He is soon defeated and left in shambles once again.

Bratt eventually returns in the penultimate level, Crimson Carnival, where he would battle a young Gru while using his platform. Bratt is eventually defeated once more and he calls in El Macho as the army's last hope.

After Mel's defeat and reformation after being rid of his nametag, Bratt's fate remains unknown, as it is unclear if he becomes imprisoned or if he died shortly after his defeat.
