Bernard "Barney" Arnold Gumble Simply as Barney. is the main antagonist of the Video Game Horror Crepypasta Eggs For bart. He was Homer Simpson's best friend until he was killed by Bart Simpson and his soul in revenge against the Simpson family.
History[]
Chapter 1[]
In a flashback of Homer, Barney's ghost guides him to the Kwik-E-Mark where Homer finds his corpse. And later in Moe's store, Barney would show Homer who killed him and he realizes that it was his son Bart. Later he would somehow trick Homer into going to the house and getting the eggs. What he didn't know was that his family still turned into monsters. And Barney, through an egg, would possess Bart and transform him into monsters like the rest of the family. Simpson family at the end of chapter 1 Homer gets all the Eggs but is supposedly killed by Barney since he doesn't want Homer to find out the truth.
Chapater 2[]
Ned Flanders trying to discover the whereabouts of the Simpson family goes to a forest and runs into Barney who makes him crash his car Barney tricked him told him to collect the eggs Ned, listening to him, went for the eggs What Flanders did not know is that he would face the Simpsons being controlled by him in an unexpected revelation it is revealed to us that Barney did not kill Homer and he went to look for his family while Homer searched he met Barney and when he sees Homer he kills him definitively when Ned Flanders manages to collect the last 6 eggs Ned seeing Homer dead Barney so as not to arouse suspicion would kill Ned and in a revelation we would realize that the Simpson family was never alive and that in fact they were only empty shells manipulated by Barney implying that it would not matter if Ned managed to collect the eggs it would not save the Simpson family And in the end Barney agrees with the eggs.
Flasback Chapter 3[]
In a flashback while Barney ascends with the eggs using some strange tricks he would create a dimension for Homer and this would transform Homer and this would transform Homer into a corrupted monster of that dimension.
Chapter 3[]
Barney does not appear in the chapter except in the flashback already mentioned but until almost the end of the Game where when the corrupted Homer takes Officer Gorgory to a plane of the cabin of the dimension where Barney tries to kill Officer Gorgory but does not succeed and probably along with Homer they remained trapped in that dimension forever.
Trivia[]
- Barney, curiously, despite being the main antagonist, appears very few times and is the only character who does not have a function to attack the player until Chapter 3.
- Along with Officer Gorgory and possibly Homer, they are the only ghost characters in the game, being the one that appears the most.
Personality[]
Barney before being a ghost was a good-natured drunk and Homer Simpson's best friend who was killed by his friend Bart's son, which filled him with rage and he took the eggs to tie Bart up and tricked Homer and Ned Flanders to get the eggs, which shows that he is a manipulative and sadistic ghost, despite that, Barney appreciates Homer for being his best friend and really did not kill him, although later he did so that he would not come in the way and later using the eggs he took pity on him and resurrected him, transforming him into a monster.
