Barricade is a major character in AHM1K's Transformers Multiverse, serving as the secondary antagonist of AHM1K's Transformers: The Last Knight, and later the deuteragonist in Transformers: Life of Prime. He was a high-ranking Decepticon who was loyal to Megatron, and the arch enemy of Bumblebee. After being killed, he was revived and brought in the Life of Prime universe by Wheeljack, and after bringing the Megatron of his universe into the Life of Prime universe, he has since abandoned the Decepticon cause to join the Autobots due to a friendship with Optimus Prime, but still retains some of his villainous traits.
He was voiced by AHM1K.

Background[]
Since AHM1K's the The Last Knight is based on the film of the same name, it can be presumed much of his history was the same as his film series counterpart apart before The Last Knight. It is also mentioned that Barricade had lost a fight with Bumblebee, presumably referencing the events of Transformers (2007).
Transformers: The Last Knight[]
Barricade is first seen pursuing Bumblebee on a road, causing Drift to try and intervene, but this was proven futile, as Barricade transformed into robot mode and defeated him by shooting him in the chest with his blaster. Barricade rammed Bumblebee on the road, and caused both himself and Bumblebee to transform into robot mode causing a fight where Barricade vengefully recalls a time Bumblebee beat him in the past, vowing it will never happen again. Just as Barricade gets the upper hand, Crosshairs appears behind him with his blasters pointed at Barricade, causing him to turn around long enough for Bumblebee raise his arm blasters at Barricade as well. Barricade tells Bumblebee he won't be as fortunate next time and disappears.
Some time later, while searching for Megatron, Barricade encountered Sideswipe, and engaged in combat with him. After gaining upper hand, Barricade was hit by Sunstreaker in vehicle mode, knocking him away. Despite being outnumbered by Sideswipe and Suntreaker, Barricade was able to kill Sideswipe, and Sunstreaker was blown up by Galvatron, who Barricade knew was Megatron due to having the same presence. Galvatron then hinted to Barricade that he plans to become Megatron again.
Barricade brought Galvatron to the hover dam in the hopes that he would become Megatron again as a result, but was angrily told it would take much more than that by him, causing Barricade to apologize, before Galvatron said that he would kill Barricade if he wasn't the only Decepticon left. At that moment, Berserker jumped out near them, causing Galvatron to shoot Barricade non-fatally in the chest. Barricade then assisted Berserker in his fight with Hound, despite being damaged from the shot and retreated along with Galvatron and Berserker.
After Galvatron was pursued and ambushed by many surviving Autobots, Barricade and Berserker revealed themselves to also be there, and began attacking the Autobots Crosshairs and Longarm, who almost killed Galvatron. After calling in an army of surviving Decepticons, Barricade personally participated in the battle against Bumblebee, labeling himself as Bumblebee's death dealer. Bumblebee then managed to escape him, along with the rest of the retreating Autobots. After asking Galvatron if they should follow the Autobots and finish them off, Barricade was told not to, as they had already wasted much time trying to do so. Suddenly, Optimus Prime, who was under the control of Quintessa, appeared and started killing Decepticon troops, causing Barricade to attack him in defence, however, he was stabbed in the hip area by Optimus Prime using his sword.
This, however, did not kill Barricade, and as Optimus was about to kill Bumblebee, Barricade stopped him, to which Bumblebee returned the favour. Barricade then restored Bumblebee's voice via blunt force trauma to his vocal area, Barricade continued to fight Optimus, revealing it to be due to vengeance after being nearly killed by him. Eventually, Barricade and Bumblebee managed to overwhelm Prime, and Barricade betrayed Bumblebee by shooting him twice in the chest, killing him, and revealing it to all be part of a plan he came up with along with Galvatron, who then arrived on the scene as Megatron again, as he had wanted, much to Barricade's amazement.
Later, Barricade lead a prison break, which released many dangerous Decepticons, including Nitro Zeus, Mindwipe, Onslaught, Blitzwing, and more. Barricade then sent Nitro Zeus to kill the Autobot prisoners that were released from the same prison, which he succeeded at. After this, Barricade kept the troops at Stonehenge in check as Megatron began to drain the energy from Unicron, who was the foundation of Earth all along, shortly before Megatron arrived back to the area. The Decepticons were then ambushed by the Autobots, a battle which ended with most of the Decepticons being shot to death by Sqweeks, with Barricade seemingly being the only survivor after shooting Sqweeks in the face. Barricade sadly reflected on Megatron's apparent death, and how there's nothing to fight for due to the death of the other Decepticons, before reflecting on the fact that he outlived Bumblebee, however, Sqweeks still had a little energy left, and used it to shoot Barricade, killing him as well.
Transformers: Life of Prime[]
This wouldn't be the end of Barricade's story, however, as after being killed by Sqweeks, he briefly returned as a ghost before appearing in the after-spark, which turned out to merely be a white void, which Barricade noted as boring. Luckily for him, at that moment, a Wheeljack from another universe was messing with time and space in search of a random Decepticon to bring to his universe's Autobot base for another Autobot, Countdown to kill, which ended up being Barricade. Wheeljack successfully used his abilities to pull Barricade from the after-spark, brining him back to life. Countdown immediately tried to kill Barricade, but was unable to as Barricade managed to swiftly escape. While walking around the Autobot base, Barricade ran into that universe's Optimus Prime, who gave him an interview while in a drunken state, which led to Barricade being hired into the Autobot ranks after listing hating Bumblebee as one of his qualities.
