Bart Otomu is the main antagonist of Chapter 1, the pilot of Mysticism: Introduction Saga.
He is a scientist and a guinea pig zoomorphian, as well as an arch-enemy of Alex.
Biography[]
Before Mysticism[]
11 years ago, Bart tortured a young Alex by doing experiments on her Evil Eye. It is currently unknown on how she had escaped from his laboratory.
The Start Arc[]
In March 3th, 1999, Bart was wanted by the K.S.F. for an unknown crime he had done, and was holding a dying officer in his hand, and later attacked the other twos. Bob, one of Bart's partners, was recounting and describing him as "an absolute psycho" to Mystic and Alex. The latter realized it was her kidnapper who abused experiments on her when she was young, and asked Bob for Bart's location, only for him to appear right behind her, starting their fight. He attempted to grab her, but she dodged it, and instead, her crocodile pet was caught, leaving her worried, but as Mystic tried to save the pet, Bart punched him so hard he sent him flying to the air. Bart swallowed the pet without hesitation to give her a lesson for escaping her laboratory, only for him to loose his foot due to her rapid large knife dash. K.S.F. officers intervene to arrest both of them (as Alex was also a criminal in some way), but later decided to leave after the latter was stubborn and didn't care about them, giving them a chance to try out a limited-time edition of K.S.F. Breakfast Menu. Alex continued her fight against Bart, who was dominated and severely injured. Bart then started crying and said that he did not deserve all that, leaving Alex completely furious. Her fury has left Bart a chance to strike her with a streetlight and sent her crashing to a building. Alex stood up menacingly, and opened her mouth, revealing an eye that had given her the epithet of the "Evil Eye" by the public, and as Bart accidentally stared at it, he started feeling pain, then got inflated like a balloon, and later exploded in half, his blood splattered to the building close. The cause of his death was due to the curse of the Evil Eye, but its function remained a mystery.

Bart is a sadistic and cruel scientist who took Alex and tortured her for experiments 10 years ago. He also expressed the fact he didn't regret about what did he done to her. His personality also implies he could have done experiments to others like her. He also acts disrespectful around his enemies, as he called one of the K.S.F. officers "stupid," for ordering him lift his arms.
Powers and Abilities[]
Due to his mutated form, Bart possesses enhanced Physical Spirit which includes durability and strength, as he resisted to Alex's knife slashes, and sent Mystic flying to the air. In addition, he perfomed a powerful slam it cracked the road just like an explosion. As a scientist, it is obvious he could have experience and skills in science and chemist. Despite his strength, Bart was easily overpowered by Alex because of his inexperience in fighting skills.

Nothing is known about his relation with Bart, beside the fact Bob was working with him and was seeing him as an absolute psycho.
K.S.F.[]
Bart was wanted by the K.S.F. for an unknown crime he had committed.
Alex[]

Bart tortured Alex when she was young by doing experiments on her Evil Eye. He fought her after their re-encounter, but he was killed at the end.
Trivia[]
- Bart Otomu is the first ever main antagonist to be featured in the series, as well as the first one to ever die.
- He was originally planned to have neutral relation with Alex, only fighting against the latter because he swallowed her crocodile pet.
- This was changed to have a deep connection with each other.
- The reason he appears in the first ever Chapter is to make the pilot fun.
- He appeared as his mutant form, while his normal one remained a mystery as it was only shown as a silhouette during a small flashback where Alex thought about her horrible childhood with him.
