Bendy the Demon, also known as the Ink Demon and Beast Bendy, is the main antagonist of the BATIM Minecraft animation series Lifeline by Ekrcoaster and Knockerz283.
He is one of the ink creatures created by Joey Drew who tries to bring back his former glory by bringing his cartoon characters to life, with Bendy being the first character he tries to bring to life. However, instead of becoming a perfect being, Bendy became a more deformed and demonic version of his original self, making him feared by the other ink creatures. After Joey's death, Bendy takes over Joey Drew Studios and rules it as a tyrannical and sadistic demon. When two of Joey's friends, Henry Stein and Susie Campbell, return to the studio to look for him, Bendy immediately tries to kill and turn them into ink creatures.
In Can't Be Erased, his singing voice was provided by JT Music, who also provided the singing voice for Henry in the same series.
Biography[]
Backstory[]
After learning that his company's profits are declining, Joey Drew, in a desperate attempt to prevent his studio from going bankrupt and also to bring back its former glory, plans to bring hjs cartoon characters to life as a new form of entertainment. Joey's plan was opposed by his two friends, Henry Stein and Susie Campbell, who immediately abandoned Joey because of his greed and selfishness. Even though his friends have abandoned him, Joey insists on continuing his plan and uses a machine called the Ink Machine to bring his cartoon characters to life. Joey begins with his plan by trying to bring his main cartoon character, Bendy the Demon, to life. With the Ink Machine, Bendy was successfully brought into the real world. However, instead of being a normal and perfect creature, Bendy became a deeply deformed and demonic version of his original version. Feeling that the deformed Bendy would be a threat to him, Joey banished that version of Bendy to the deepest part of the studio, isolating him from the outside world. Due to his terrifying appearance, Bendy was shunned and feared by the other ink creatures and he was even given a mocking nickname: The Ink Demon. Being shunned and outcasted by other ink creatures ultimately turned Bendy into a very vengeful, ruthless, and aggressive monster. He blames Joey for his misfortune and vows to kill him as revenge. He later changed his name after his mocking name, The Ink Demon, to spread terror at Joey Drew Studios and kill anyone in his path, both humans and fellow ink creatures.
Part 1 : Lifeline[]
Days later, after learning of Joey's death, the Ink Demon capitalizes on this advantage by proclaming himself as the ruler of Joey Drew Studios, ruling the studio as a sadistic and tyrannical demon who will kill anyone who threatens his power. Because of this, most of the ink creatures grew afraid of him and were forced to submit to him. At the same time as his rise to power, Joey's two former friends, Henry and Susie, return to the studio to look for him. The Ink Demon realized of the two humans' presence in the studio and because he was afraid that they would overthrow him, he immediately moved to kill them or turn them into ink creatures to submit to him.
Part 2 : Beginnings[]
While sitting on his throne, Bendy realized that Susie was in his territory and immediately transformed into the Ink Demon to look for her. When he managed to find Susie, the Ink Demon turned into Beast Bendy and immediately grabbed Susie before throwing her against the wall, making the woman unconscious. The Ink Demon also manages to kidnap Boris who attempts to wake Susie, forcing Susie to save Boris.
While Susie is still trying to find Boris, Beast Bendy reappears and manages to bind Susie with his ink, before dropping a lump of ink on Susie's body and turning her into an ink creature based on the character she voices: Alice Angel. Unfortunately, before the Ink Demon managed to subdue Alice, Alice managed to escape from him and hid in a place called the Inner Chamber. Seeing that she is now a freak, Alice becomes furious and vows to kill the Ink Demon as revenge, forgetting her original goal to find Joey.
Part 3 : Can't Be Erased[]
After successfully turning Susie into an ink creature, the Ink Demon decides to target Henry as his next victim. While Henry was still walking around the studio, the Ink Demon slowly stalked him behind the wall and whispered to him to look for the necessary items. When the items were collected, the Ink Demon suddenly appeared Henry while expressing his hatred towards the creator for making his life miserable. Shocked by the appearance of a demon-like creature, Henry tries to escape, but is quickly bound by the ink before falling deeper into the place where more ink creatures resides.
When Henry was still exploring the new place under the studio, the Ink Demon secretly stalked him from behind the walls while telling him about his past. As Henry is walking through the ink-filled room, the Ink Demon appears behind him and mocks Henry for being afraid of moving pictures. Right after the Ink Demon finished mocking Henry, Henry mocked the Ink Demon back by asking how the tutu fit him. Enraged by Henry mocking him, the Ink Demon pulls the lever which causes Henry to fall deeper into the place where Alice Angel, one of his victims, rules. The Ink Demon decided to leave the matter of killing Henry to Alice instead of himself.
Part 4 : All Eyes On Me[]
Ink Demon never appears again after the third part, but he is often mentioned by Alice Angel, who still holds a grudge against him. When Alice explains her past, she reveals that Bendy stole her future and fame from her, causing her to be forgotten by everyone. Alice also frequently expresses her hatred towards the Ink Demon, blaming the demon for her insanity and also stating that the Ink Demon will not succeed in making her submit to him thanks to the experiments she conducted.
Appearance[]
As Bendy, he's is an old-fashioned cartoon character, having a black and white color scheme, cartoonish gloves, and a (not always) cheerful-looking face. In addition to this, the top of his head resembles cartoony horns. He wears a white bow tie, and sports black shoes. His eyes are in a pie-cut style, just like the other cartoon characters.
As the Ink Demon, he is a vaguely humanoid monster made of ink that barely resembles his original look. Extremely tall, his horns have a natural curve reminiscent of real animal horns and his eyes are obscured by thick ink covering his head. His torso is bulky and he has spikes coming out of his back and parts of his shoulders. His stature is big, yet almost skeletal in certain parts. His left hand is partially gloved while his right one lacks a glove, both of the have large claws, with his right forearm appearing to be almost bone-like. His legs are now incredibly skinny and have a digitigrade stance with cloven hooves, reemphasizing the demonic imagery.
As Beast Bendy, he is taller and skinnier than his normal self, showing much broader spines on the back and shoulders, no eyes, and bearing rows of sharp teeth and longer but slender horns. His arms are the longest parts of his body, while his legs remain the same length, resulting in him having to walk on his arms. He has two holes in each of his hands, resembling the buttons on his cartoon variant's gloves.
As Robo-Bendy, he is an old-fashioned animatronic made of iron and wire. Robo-Bendy also wears a Bendy mask whose eyes can shrink whenever he goes crazy.
Personality[]
Like most versions of the Ink Demon, he is an aggressive, sadistic, arrogant and ruthless demon who really likes stalking and torturing his victims. This version of The Ink Demon is also a manipulative and power-hungry demon, seen when Joey Drew died, the Ink Demon immediately ascended the throne and control Joey Drew Studios with an iron fist. He also greatly dislikes and is paranoid of foreigners who he thinks will overthrow him, because when Susie and Henry return to the studio, he immediately moves to kill or turn them into ink creatures so they can't overthrow him, despite the fact that both of them just want to looking for Joey who is their friend. The Ink Demon also can't stand insults and will immediately get angry if someone insults him, for example when Henry insulted the Ink Demon, he immediately trapped Henry deeper into the studio so that Henry can die. The Ink Demon is also very vengeful, claiming that the creator had "betrayed" him and subjected him to suffering and humiliation, thus making him vow to take revenge against the creator by killing him.
Unlike most versions of the Ink Demon, this version is shown to be effeminate and feminine, frequently acting like a girl and even appearing like a feminine goth boy. He even wore a ballet tutu which is usually only worn by female ballerinas.
