Bendy is the secondary antagonist of the Bendy and the Ink Machine fan-songs made by Hailey Lain, serving as the main antagonist of Welcome Home, and the secondary antagonist of Behind The Curtain.
He is a cartoon character created by Henry Stein as Joey Drew Studios' main mascot. In the song, he spends the video tormenting Henry for leaving the studio three decades ago while singing about how he's "happy" that Henry finally returned, and that he wants him dead.
He is voiced by Hailey Lain (aka SquigglyDigg) herself.
Appearance[]
Just like in his canonical appearance in the cartoons, Bendy's body is black including his boots. His gloves, bowtie, and face are white. His eyes resemble the eyes used in 1930's cartoons pie shaped eyes. However, in some instances, his eyes become more sadistic.
As the Ink Demon, he resembles his in-game counterpart, but with a black and white color scheme instead of the black and yellow of the game.
Personality[]
Bendy is shown to be very vengeful and hateful towards Henry, showing that he gets a sick pleasure whenever he gets terrified. However, there are a few cracks in his sadistic facade, as he sometimes laments about his past agony and pain and how he wished Henry stayed at the studio so all the tragedies there couldn't have happened. Despite this, it adds more fuel to the fire as he continues on making Henry suffer. Bendy also does have some care for Henry, as in Behind The Curtain, he scolds Sammy for trying to kill Henry, and when he was about to kill him as the Ink Demon, he remembers his origin, and runs away ashamed.
Trivia[]
- Just like in many fanons before Bendy and the Dark Revival was released, Bendy was portrayed to have actually been a living cartoon with his animators and creators before turning evil after the corruption of the studio.
- Bendy will return in the final installment of the trilogy, The Mad Director, as Beast Bendy.
