Well, can't make art without causing some trouble.
~ Dennis seeing his crimes on the news.

Benjamin Bradford is the main protagonist of VAVillain's second October playthrough of BitLife.

Although at first, appearing as a normal, polite fashion designer from New York, he is in reality a serial killer who has been terrorizing New York for over five years under a delusional belief that he is creating "art".

Biography[]

Early Life[]

Dennis was born alongside his twin brother, Bradley, to Sara Bradford (a 22 year old marines member) and Frank Bradford (a 56 year old salesman). When he was 4, Sara became involved in a massive attack that left hundreds dead, although she survived. Benjamin became perplexed by her stories and became fascinated with the idea of taking human lives, Benjamin began studying things like violence and irrational thought.

Hoping to stop these thoughts, his father took him to art classes hoping he would find those more enjoyable than war. To his credit, Benjamin did enjoy art, but always felt discontent with his creations, always believing that they lacked substance.

Becoming a serial killer[]

After graduating college, Benjamin became a jr fashion designer and later a fashion designer hoping to find something that could make his art more life-like. At some point, he witnessed his friend get shot in a robbery gone wrong. Inspired by this act, Benjamin stalked his co-worker, Shelly, and shot her from his car and drove off. The police would investigate the murder, but due to a lack of evidence, the case went cold. Benjamin then became fixated on Shelly's corpse, believing in a moment of delusion, that he had created an original piece of art that everyone knew about.

A year later, on the anniversary of Shelly's death, Benjamin felt motivated to use foil to cover his license plate and drive out to where he shot a random surfer man to death near the airport. After this, he went out and took his nephew out to a movie to gain an alibi. Like before, Benjamin believed that this new murder was a new form of art. This time, Benjamin went out killing a week after his second murder, where he shot a random homeless-man to death and drove off. The police managed to find a connection between these two murders and Shelly's murder and contacted the FBI. Realizing that this could lead to him getting caught, Benjamin instigated a second plan, in which he killed three more people, this time by stabbing them with a homemade stake in hopes that this would distract the FBI.

Death[]

After shooting his supervisor from his car, the police started investigating his workplace. Though he managed to talk his way out of interrogation, he still became worried that his crimes would be discovered, he stabbed another person with a homemade stake and attempted to stab another, but she took the stake and stabbed him. He died five days later due to internal bleeding. Afterwards, the police found his journal, describing his murders. This allowed them to conclude that he was a serial killer.

Legacy[]

After learning of his crimes, his closest friends cut contact with the Bradford family due to sheer shock. When his crimes became public, the news dubbed him "The Two Killer" due to him having two methods of killing. Although they were disturbed by his murders, his family still attended his funeral

Profile[]

The unsub is a male in his late 20s-early 30s. Due to his victims being Caucasian, we believe him to be too. He's organized and patient, and can keep calm long enough before he ends up killing. These murders are impulsive, which seems to imply a form of bloodlust, which also implies we're dealing with a sociopath who, judging from the locations, works or lives in the West region of New York. He kills his victims in public, which might be his way of seeking attention, so look for someone who works in a fairly standard job where they retain control, but are also easily forgettable.

Trivia[]

  • He was inspired by Bryan Hughes from Criminal Minds.
