Bidoof Boy is a minor antagonist from the fangame Pokémon Heads & Tails. He's a Bidoof-obsessed Youngster who, after getting in a teleporting pod with a Bidoof, got transformed into a Bidoof-human hybrid with the ability to control Bidoof near him.
In Game[]
Originally a Youngster, Doofus was the younger brother of petty Pokévillains Goofus and Barrel, who also focused on the Bidoof line. Doofus decided to assemble his own army of Bidoof and try to eventually conquer the world with it. Challenging the player as his first oponent in his evil journey, Doofus got defeated, swearing to one day get revenge on the player. He would also tell his brothers about them.
After that, Doofus decided to join Team Kaiser and get some experience from the top villains leading it. However, he struggled to find them, finding just one of their safe houses under which there was a secret lab with a prototype of the teleporting pods used in the Team Kaiser hideout. Curious about it, Doofus went inside the pod with one of his Bidoof and got sent to another pod at the other side of the lab. Having teleported together with his Bidoof merged their DNA and, in result, Doofus got transformed into a human-Bidoof hybrid, with his head being now that of a Bidoof. That transformation gave him the power to communicate and control with other Bidoof, a power he decided to develop.
Following Team Kaiser's defeat and the player becoming the new Champion, Doofus, now under the name of Bidoof Boy, attacked Nona City to present himself to the region, but was again defeated by the player and imprisoned by the police. His stay in prison didn't last for long, as Team Crisis attacked the facility some time after and released him, offering him to join their ranks.
Once among the numerous villains of Team Crisis, Bidoof Boy learned that a member's influence on the organization was based mainly on their Pokémon team. Because of that, every heavyweight had at least one rare Pokémon with them. Wanting to become an officer, Bidoof Boy teamed up with Pokévillains Refrigerator and Royal Slaking to find the legendary Pokémon Groudon and capture it. Bidoof Boy's plan was to put Groudon in the same teleporting pod that transformed him and turn it into a Groudon-Bidoof hybrid under his control, which would make him virtually unstoppable. His plan was thwarted again by the player, though, and he was put again behind bars after Team Crisis' defeat.
Personality[]
Even since before his transformation, Bidoof Boy was obsessed with Bidoof and was convinced it was the greatest Pokémon species in the world, hoping to show it to the world by conquering with an army formed by them. After his first defeat against the player, Bidoof Boy got determined to get revenge and thought of himself as their archenemy and most formidable foe, proving himself to be quite arrogant. He also acts like the classic supervillain, shouting monologues when comfronted by the player and threatening them to get revenge every time he's defeated.
Trivia[]
- His concept is based on Rusty from Pokémon Rusty, another trainer who also tried experimenting with Bidoof to become more powerful, and on Seth Brundle, the protagonist of The Fly.
