Bill Cipher (Character What)0001

Bill Cipher is a recurring major villain in the Character What franchise, he is high-omnipotent dream demon originally from the Second Dimension who wants to destroy the universe by creating a rift between the Nightmare Realm and the real world. He serve as a archenemy to both Dipper and Stanford Pines as well as Webby Vanderquack.


Personality[]

First impression, Bill seems to be a charming and charismatic individual, who is willing help others with their problems while making deals with them. In truth, he is a manipulative and untrustworthy demon, who only wants to benefit his own goals. Because of his harmless appearance and charismatic figure, he simply manipulates and deceive others through fake promises, brainwashing and dealings to help further his own goals and betraying them once he has no longer had anymore use of them either by killing or submitting them to a life of misery and torment for his own sadistic amusement. In other words, Bill is a completely heartless monster with no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

Bill is a total psychopath with sadistic tendencies, such removing the teeth from a deer, mixing up every orifice on Preston Northwest's face, torturing Dipper's body while possessing it.

Despite his almost fearless nature. Bill easily panics when realizing he is in a helpless situation, as seen when he was trick into entering Stan's mind that was about to be erased by Stanford's memory gun, Bill because deeply frighten and tries to convince Stan to spare him, through offering money, fame, riches, infinite power and his own galaxy but to no avail. Bill is also absolutely terrified of dying as shown after witnessing Shadow Aaron easily destroyed Time Baby, Bill unanimously submit to him to save himself from the same fate, mostly due to Shadow Aaron reviving him only with a small portion of his powers.

Character What: Revenge of Evil[]

Bill Cipher was revived by Shadow Aaron but was not restore to his full powers since Shadow Aaron didn't trust Bill entirely. When Shadow Aaron demands the villains to join him in his plans to destroy Shadow Joe and conquest the multiverse. However, Bill refuse to join forces with Shadow Aaron and proclaims that he prefers to conquest the multiverse alone, but after witnessing Shadow Aaron vaporizing Time Baby with a simple blast. Bill and the other villains unanimously agrees to serve him.

Character What: New Hope[]

In Lost Forgiveness, Shadow Aaron send Bill Cipher on a mission to make sure Shadow Joe is still miserable as possible. Bill witness Shadow Joe and Pinkie Pie setting up a party in hope that Twilight Sparkle and Dawn for forgive him for breaking his promise of being the Pokemon Contest for Dawn during the finals. Soon after Shadow Joe and Pinkie went to find Dawn and Twilight, Bill quickly report to Shadow Aaron about Shadow Joe setting up a party in hopes of Dawn and Twilight to forgive him. Shadow Aaron knowing that Shadow Joe might have a chance for Dawn and Twilight to forgive him for not keeping his promise, so he and Bill went to the location where the party was. When they arrive at the party while Shadow Joe and Pinkie were still looking for Dawn and Twilight, Shadow Aaron and Bill destroyed the entire party and made their escapes before Shadow Joe returns. When Dawn and Twilight saw the party that Shadow Joe and Pinkie set up was ruined. As a result, Dawn and Twilight blame Shadow Joe for the wrecking the party in attempt to spite for neglect their friendship with him. Shadow Joe tries to make them understand that he is not responsible for the party being demolished, but Dawn and Twilight stubbornly refuse to believe him and and decides to go separate ways with him again, much to Shadow Joe's despair. Shadow Aaron and Bill witness this from Shadow Aaron's magic orb and realize that everything is going according to plan.

In New Friend, Bill Cipher still continued with his task to make sure nothing makes Shadow Joe happy, when he saw Shadow Joe was still saddened for losing his chances of earning Dawn and Twilight Sparkle forgiveness and restoring their friendship with them. Bill returns to the empire to inform Shadow Aaron that Shadow Joe is still devastated for his broken friendship with Dawn and Twilight Sparkle, much to Shadow Aaron's delight. However, Bill begin to wonder if Shadow Joe would try to form a new friendship with someone else, but Shadow Aaron assures Bill that Shadow Joe would never attempt to replace his former close friends Dawn and Twilight Sparkle. Unknow to Shadow Aaron and Bill Cipher, Shadow Joe became friends with Webby Vanderquack after he rescuing her from Discord. Shadow Aaron decides to test how weak Shadow Joe will be after losing Dawn and Twilight again, he and Bill Cipher terrorize Ponyville to lure Shadow Joe straight to them. Shadow Joe arrive to stop Shadow Aaron and Bill Cipher from harming anypony. Shadow Aaron and Bill manages to subdue Shadow Joe despite his best efforts and Shadow Aaron prepares to strike the final blow. However, Webby interferes and throw some fruits at Shadow Aaron to stop from hurting Shadow Joe even further. Shadow Aaron angerly orders Bill to dispose of Webby while he finishes what he started with Shadow Joe. Bill found Webby under a table and she squirt mustard at his eye. This enraged Bill and attempts to destroy Webby for hurting his eyes. Unfortunately, Shadow Aaron soon realize that Shadow Joe wasn't weaken yet and decides to leave since he didn't want to be underestimated by the hero. Before Bill could got a chance to destroy Webby, Shadow Aaron requests Bill to return to the empire with him, but Bill still wants to destroy Webby and tries to explains to Shadow Aaron but refuse to listen to Bill to return to him immediately, much to Bill's disappointment.

In Lizard Under the Bed, after failing to destroy Webby by himself, Bill Cipher reports to Shadow Aaron that Shadow Joe is now friends with Webby Vanderquack. Shadow Aaron fearing that his well throughout plans will be ruined unless he remove Webby from Shadow Joe, he decides to send out Randall Boggs to destroy Webby. Bill Cipher wanted to destroy Webby since he still has vengeance on her for squirting mustard into his eyes, but Shadow Aaron refuses to give Bill a second chance and still intent to send Randall to get rid of Webby, much to Bill's annoyance.

After Shadow Aaron finally kidnaps Webby and planned to kill her so she would not interfere with his plans to make Shadow Joe's life a miserable. Bill watches sadistically as Shadow Aaron begun to use the Scream Extractor on Webby. However, Shadow Joe intervenes before the Scream Extractor gets into her mouth, tears the machine away from Webby, and throw it at Discord, Ursula and General Grievous but Bill Cipher along with Shadow Aaron and Sunset Shimmer managed to dodge the device.

In The Truth, when Shadow Aaron's plans to ruin Shadow Joe's life were close to ruins, Bill Cipher subsequently abandoned Shadow Aaron when he started battling Shadow Joe, which made him realize that he should had never trusted Bill with his plans in the first place.

Character What:[]

Bill Cipher serves as the secondary antagonist, later turned anti-hero in film of the series final of Character What: New Hope. Bill was first confront by Shadow Aaron who wanted revenge on Bill for abandoning and causing his entire plan to ruin Shadow Joe's life to fail. Bill begin to panic upon realizing what Shadow Aaron was going to do him but Bill manages to wiggle his way out of Shadow Aaron's rage by promising to make it up for him. Though Shadow Aaron was reluctant, but considers to give Bill a second chance to redeem himself. Bill help Shadow Aaron to capture Dawn, Twilight Sparkle and Webby Vanderquack and took them somewhere so Shadow Joe could rescue them and fall into their trap. When Shadow Joe arrive at the place where Dawn, Twilight and Webby were kept in captivity, Bill sneaky place the anti-power collar on Shadow Joe's head which deactivated his powers and was put into a prison cell by Shadow Aaron. Shadow Aaron suddenly double-cross Bill and imprison him inside a small force-field as revenge for betraying him. Even though Shadow Aaron had successful captured Shadow Joe along his friends, he decides capture everyone Shadow Joe knows and place them in captivity as well in a separate hideout. However, Shadow Joe was aware that Shadow Aaron would use one of the anti-power collars and took a thin device out of one of his ears and use it to undo the collar on his head. With his powers back, Shadow Joe free Dawn, Twilight and Webby from their prison cells while Bill remind him that he is still trap, but Shadow Joe decides to leave Bill where he is. However, Shadow Joe eventually released Bill so he can made a deal with him that if he help Shadow Joe and his friends to stop Shadow Aaron and rescue every character he kidnap and in return he can get revenge on Shadow Aaron but on one condition that he will be usable to use his powers to attacks them and cannot abandon them as well, to which Bill begrudgingly accept Shadow Joe's deal. When they found Shadow Aaron's hideout, Bill attempts to betray Shadow Joe and his team but he was unable to use powers against them and could not teleport away due to the deal he made with Shadow Joe. Once in Shadow Aaron's warehouse, Shadow Aaron show himself and trap Twilight, Dawn and Bill in a force-field. A horrify Bill tries to persuade Shadow Aaron to spare him since he is on his side, but Shadow Aaron refuses considering Bill was assisting Shadow Joe and his team and could not released him anyway without freeing Twilight and Dawn.

Character What: Chronicles[]

Bill Cipher makes his return in Fawn in the Empire, where he was seen with the other villains who had attended Shadow Aaron's villain meeting in a theater. Later, back on Shadow Aaron's intergalactic spaceship, Bill Cipher along with the rest of the villains were informed by Shadow Aaron that Bambi is aboard the spaceship and ordered to captured immediately. However, Bill is not seen participating in the search for Bambi.

Character What: Extraordinary Journey[]

In Blinky Cipher, When Blinky Bill being send back to Greenpatch to do school works since he was not allow to join Shadow Joe into fighting the Daleks as it will be too dangerous for the young koala, Bill Cipher had been hearing Blinky's complains of being back to do some school work and plots to take advantage of the situation. Bill Cipher revealed himself to Blinky and explains that he overhear that he didn't want to do school works and could take his place if he makes a deal with him. Blinky never met Bill Cipher before and foolish makes a deal with him, only for Bill to remove his soul from his body and possesses it. He explains to Blinky that his true plans is to fool Shadow Joe into making a deal with him so he could strip away his powers and use them to regain his full power and takeover the multiverse, much to Blinky's horror. Bill in Blinky's body meets up Blinky's friends, Blinky tries to warm his friends that Bill had stolen his body but was they were unable to hear him and he was also unable to touch them. Bill explains to Blinky without a physical body he is just a ghost and went with to school with Blinky's friends, Blinky realize that he must find Shadow Joe and warm him about Bill taking over his body. When Blinky's friends arrive at school and still oblivious that Bill is inside Blinky's body. Nutsy soon suspicious of Blinky's unusual behaviour when Bill started saying wicked things to Miss Magpie, Splodge Kangaroo, Marcia Marsupial Mouse and Flap the Platypus during class. After school was finished, Nutsy confront Blinky for saying such horrid things to his friends and their teacher and wondering if actually is Blinky, Bill introduce himself to Nutsy and notifying to her that he stolen Blinky's Body so he could get closer to Shadow Joe and steal his powers. Bill also explains that he is going kill her as she had seen too much. However, Blinky found Shadow Joe and tell him everything about Bill Cipher's plan to steal his powers and they made their way back to Greenpatch to stop Bill. When arrive Shadow Joe used his "exorcism" to remove Bill from Blinky's body and saved Nutsy from harmed. Blinky then returns to his body and Nutsy hugs him for being restore to his body. Bill invokes that it's not over and will someday get his revenge on Shadow Joe before vanishing into thin air.

Character What: Villains Revenge[]

In Watch Out for the Gorg, Bill Cipher appears on one of Twilight Sparkle's pictures of the villains she was examining of their origins.

Character What: The Last Stand[]

Bill Cipher makes his last appearance in the two-parter Return of Weirdmageddon, as the main antagonist. Bill was first seen in Shadow Aaron's empire when he was among the rest of remaining villains who were gadded by Jafar to announce his plan to destroy Shadow Joe once and for all to avenge Shadow Aaron's presumed demise in Shadow Joe's Kingdom. However, Bill turned on the villains by turning them into stone while declaring that he had enough of being in Shadow Aaron's rules and just wants to brought back Weridmageddon to take over the multiverse. But needed to regain all of his powers in order accomplish his goal by making a deal with Shadow Joe. Bill managed to capture Dawn, Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy, Webby Vanderquick, Bambi, Blinky Bill, Shadow Selina, Iris, Phoenix Wright and Cinderella to hold them as hostages to force Shadow Joe to give up some of his powers so his companions can be released.

Powers and Abilities[]

  • Dream Walking: As living up to being call the "Dream Demon", Bill can enter into the dreams of others, though he must made a deal with someone in order for him to enter their dreams.
  • Possession: After making a deal with someone, Bill possess a host body while regaining his eye pupils.
  • Levitation: Bill can float freely into the air.
  • Reality Warping: Bill can manipulate and alter the laws of reality at his within. Bill transmutate organic matter, defy the laws of the physical world, and cause a ripple in the fabric of space-time continuum.
  • Regeneration: Bill can heal himself from physical damage, such as his form, limbs, hat and eye.

Trivia[]

  • Similar to the Gravity Falls series, Bill Cipher makes several cameos throughout the course of Character What franchise.
  • Bill Cipher is the oldest villain in the Character What universe, as he is one trillion years old while Shadow Aaron the main antagonist of the franchise is a thousand years old.
  • Bill Cipher is one of the most powerful villains in the Character What series along with Shadow Aaron, Discord, Chaos and Trigon.
