I'll show you exactly what pizza can taste like!
~ Billy rambling in his videotape

William “Billy” Afton is the main antagonist of FNaF: Purple Guy by Iron Horse Cinema. He is the main focus of the story.

He is the CEO of Afton Robotics and co-owner of Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. He lured children away from the restaurant to murder them. Some of his victims going on to possess the animatronics featured in the restaurants. After the restaurant’s closing, he would continue with his path of murder.

He is portrayed by Dan Berkey.

History[]

In the 1980s, Billy founded Afton Robotics and would open Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza with his partner, Freddy Fozber in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Sometime during its operation, Billy lured "endless streams" of children out of the restaurant with the promise of delicious pizza, where he'd kidnap and kill them, hiding their bodies in the animatronic suits.

At an unknown time period, Billy’s son is bitten by an animatronic and is put into a coma. Billy is too poor to afford the child support, so he stops paying, resulting in his arrest. He is later let go, however.

On October 9th, 1993, Billy kidnaps two boys and kills them on his birthday. After this he makes a videotape where he gleefully recalls his time kidnapping children. The same day, Fazbear’s Fright is set on fire, presumably by Billy as he is seen at the crime scene with his camcorder.

On October 10th, 1993, Billy is arrested for a broken head light, but becomes a suspect for the disappearance of the two boys he killed when police find their backpack in the backseat of his car. He was put in an interrogation room with Detective Jansen where he is asked questions. Initially Billy was calm, but as the interrogation got more and more closer to the truth about his crimes, he became more and more restless and frenzied. After Jansen gets dangerously close to finding the truth, he lunges at her and kills her by breaking her neck. He frees himself from his handcuffs and after talking to the camera regarding his hunger for pizza, he walks out of the interrogation room.

Background[]

Personality[]

Billy Afton is a psychopathic, sadistic, unhinged, delusional and dangerous individual. He is shown to have a love and obsession for murdering children, becoming excited whenever he even thinks about. He also has an obsession about pizza, using it as a tactic to lure children with. He is very dishonest, lying to Detective Jansen about the whereabouts of the missing children.

Billy would stop at nothing to murder more children, even going as far as to kill an officer. Billy claims to care about his children, despite having been said to be neglectful and unsupportive of his children and not paying his child support, proving that he is delusional.

Appearance[]

Billy Afton appears as an older middle-aged man with fair skin, blue eyes and short, messy grey hair. He wears a blue (sometimes appearing purple) dirty cap, a camouflage jacket with a black shirt underneath, black pants and black boots.

When he was put under arrest, he wears an orange prison jumpsuit, but keeps his hat on.

Trivia[]

  • This version of William Afton was never killed in a springlock suit, unlike the original Afton.
  • This interpretation of William Afton seems to be based on Dave Miller from The Silver Eyes, as both are disheveled psychopaths with an obsession over Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza. Dave Miller, however, has been revealed to be merely a character put on by William Afton in The Fourth Closet, which released around the same time the Purple Guy videos were being uploaded.
