Black King is the secondary antagonist of Goji73's YouTube series Godzilla and his Amazing Friends. He is the abusive older brother of Red King. He serves as an unseen overarching antagonist of Season 1 and the main antagonist of Season 2.
Personality[]
Black King is ruthless, uncaring, and abusive towards everyone he encounters. He is constantly smacking his younger brother Red King across the face just because he thinks he is weak. Additionally, he always finds ways to break Red King's spirit, denoting his victory against a Gyaos as not impressive, even though it should've been considered a step up for him, beating up and verbally abusing Red King right after he already had a beating from Godzilla, as well as giving Red King extremely high and unreasonable standards, such as wanting him to defeat Godzilla, who was considered the King of the Monsters.
Aside from being extremely sadistic, Black King is also somewhat of a conspirer, sending his friend Seagorath as a spy to kill Godzilla after he left to return home after he beat Red King and forcing Red King to Godzilla's home to settle a score Red King is afraid of. In fact, despite Seagorath supposedly being his best and only friend, Black King does not seem to care or feel any remorse for his death to Godzilla when he sent him to kill him. He also seems to be rather delusional, thinking that Red King actually still has a score to settle with Godzilla and forcing him to fight the king even after easily losing twice.
Black King's arrogance and hatred would end up being his literal downfall, as when Red King offers him to live and be friends with Godzilla when he is dangling off a cliff, Black King shows disgust at the idea of being friends with Godzilla, ignorant that his rejection would lead to him falling off the cliff.
Overall, Black King is headstrong and powerful, but abusive, ignorant, and mean-spirited, being one of the most evil characters in the series.
Biography[]
Season 1[]
While not seen in the first episode, Black King was the conspirer for the events of the first episode, as it was his abuse towards Red King that led to Godzilla fighting Red King. Watching the fight with his friend, Seagorath, Black King knew Red King wasn't going to win, so he sent Seagorath to take care of Godzilla when he leaves. After Red King loses, Black King beats Red King down, using the recent fight to further prove that he is weak.
As revealed in episode 9, Seagorath went after Godzilla, but was killed. Black King, supposedly realizing Seagorath failed to stop Godzilla, decides to drag Red King along with him to settle the score with Godzilla.
Season 2[]
In episode 14, Red King is appears to attack Godzilla, claiming he wanted to settle the score with him. After a fight ending with Red King pleading for his life like Gomora did with Godzilla, Godzilla is left conflicted until Black King shows himself and reveals that he is Red King's accomplice. When Red King backs away from fighting Godzilla, Black King reveals his abusive side and smacks Red King to attack Godzilla, much to the King's shock and disgust. However, Black King quickly takes out Godzilla and his friends and leaves, taking Red King with him.
In episode 17, Black King returns with Red King, now wanting to use Red King to settle the score. However, Red King and Godzilla do not want to fight due to the former's fear and the latter's concern and disgust over Red King's life. Eventually, Black King's abuse becomes so great that Red King finally smacks him back. This leads to Black King fully turning on Red King and him dealing with Godzilla himself. But just as Black King is about to kill Godzilla, Red King saves the King and the two shake hands and become allies.
Their fight eventually leads them to a cliff, which ends with Black King nearly killing Red King by throwing him off. However, the tables are turned when Godzilla shoots Black King with his atomic breath. But Red King remembers that despite their relationship, the two are still family, and he attempts to save his brother from death. Red King offers Black King to stay on Monster Island as one of Godzilla's friends. Stupidly, Black King kicks his brother one final time, being unable to stand the idea of being with Godzilla, sending him falling to his death.
