The Black Paragon Covenant is one of the overreaching antagonistic faction in a "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime" Fanfic writhed by LordGalvatronYT. They were formed by Yamiakio Watanabe when she lost her family hundreds of years ago to one of Kazalim and Roy Valentine's conflicts. She was blinded by hatred and rage as she knew as long the Demon Lords exist humanity can never truly be safe and free. But she knew she alone wouldn’t be enough against the number of them so she sought to form an Hero counterpart with making up 10 Chosen Heroes which sought to produce through any means necessary even if means resorting to immortal means like Otherworlder Summoning.
History[]
Many years ago when Yamiakio Watanabe lost her husband Wakato Watanabe and son Yuma Wantanabe as collateral damage in one of many clashes of Kazalim and Roy Valentine, she decided as a long as the Demon Lords exist humanity humanity can never be truly safe.
She would gather those who share her ideals together form a Anti-Demon Lord organization called Black Paragon Covenant where they secretly

She placed each main base in only exception is Demon Lord ruled territory like Ruberios or locations she had no beef with like Thalion and Dwargon in capital city of each Western Nation. It is done to deter subjugation if the Demon Lords were to learn of the group's existence it will be impossible to do so without causing outcry and public backlash she would use to rally humanity against the Demon Lords if it were to happen.
- Englassia/Engrassia: Main HQ where it is the heart of the Western Nations, hidden inside of the capital city being most protected of all. Is home to Yamiakio Watanabe who is in charge.
- Falmuth: One of the secondary locations where Jigoku Zankoku runs it, he is known to use forced methods with is kept hidden even for the rest of the group. It would be abandoned at the end events of Clash of Saints and Monsters when Jigoku got exposed for his actions which made Yamiakio oust him and him being on the run.
- Blumund: A lesser location known for summoning and training. It would be abandoned when Blumund and the Jura-Tempest Federation formed their alliance to prevent risk of discovery.
Policies[]
To make things run smoothy Yamiakio put rules to keep their existence hidden and surprised to the Demon Lords.
- Constant Checkup: Bases with orbs connection to other bases check in every several days or so. If a base fails to report, it will be lead to assumption it is compromised of discovery and will have the rest be on alert and lockdown.
- Background Filter: Each new member is filtered
- Zero Treason Tolerance: If someone betray or backstab the group without reason or say they are marked for containment or execution ruthlessly.
Rules[]
Although Yamiaiko is extremely pragmatic and will willingly do whatever it takes, she has hard limits:
- Never organize with groups like Orthrus who run slavery or run off of disgusting crimes.
- Force breeding of Otherworlders is strictly prohibited and not be tolerated. Jigoku Zankoku only member who got away with it due to his wealth hiding his atrocities.
Trivia[]
- The could be considered the anti-villain opposite of Orthrus as this group do bad things for noble reasons of protecting humanity from the Demon Lords and has standards not allying with groups like Orthrus.
- Ironically one of this group's members Jigoku Zankoku is a secret backer and supporter of Orthrus who has no care for group's goal and only joined for his selfish gain and eliminate the Demon Lords for threat of his attempt of ruling the world.
- Yamiakio Watanabe chose the 3 major powerhouse nations capitals to house their bases with Ingrassia as the main HQ as incase the Demon Lords were to find out about it's existence and see it a issue or threat they wouldn't be able to do anything by simply eliminating the group without making themselves enemy of humanity due to be housed in heavily populated areas.
- Though they have no base in Ruberios due to Roy Valentine/Luminous Valentine deterring any attempt setting up base not wanting to risk the Demon Lords discovering the group so they had a mole in the Western Holy Church instead
